A major disappointment in terms of a few things: When deciding to purchase a car a few years ago, we had called ahead to set up an appointment to test drive a vehicle. Upon arriving for our appointment (15 mins early), we found that our sales representative had gone home for the day without notifying us to cancel or any setting up a replacement. The dealership set us up with another salesman which was good, however the car we had expressed interest in was already sold (it had been 2 days) and we were not notified at all. As a result, we ended up viewing many cars which were much more expensive than what we were looking for. I'm unsure if this was intentional. We ended up settling on a vehicle, and negotiated the price down. However, when the contract came out (a few days later) the additional fees and whatnot brought the price back up to an amount higher than the original cost. The real disappointment wasn't realized until recently. We specifically asked for a longer contract so we could have less monthly payments with the intention of paying more than the required monthly payment to decrease the principle loan (and subsequent interest). They had assured us that this was possible and it was done like that. However, today we realized this was not actually happening, we have a loan that is about 10k more than the cost of the car and all our additional payments have been going to the interest rate and any additional that went to the principle was also charged an additional fee. We only discovered this through a series of phone calls and appointments (kept being redirected to different people and offices). Utterly disappointed and betrayed. I feel that given our clear expectations and conversations with the dealership's representative, this glaring caveat should have been explained to us. We were excited to purchase our first car, we did the research to see what we could do to reduce our debt, and we trusted them to help us achieve this but it was not the case. The car itself was good and study, and the mechanics have been excellent hence 2 stars instead of 1. I'm extremely disappointed by the sales team and the finance team. Either they were ill-informed and ignorant of the contract with the bank which led to them misinforming us or they are ill-intentioned. Regardless, I do not recommend doing business with them in either situations.

Beware of this dealership and the pressure tactics they use. They have other plans for your money. They shouldn’t take advantage of people and hide small but important details (warranty, oil changes, etc) during sale closure. Sad but true, avoid at all costs. Tried talking to them post sale and they are totally different people from the ones we met when first purchasing, it like dealing with wolves.

Terrible. They are nice before you buy. They don't respond to emails or phone calls afterwards. Horribly ill intentioned. Stay away, you may lose a lot of money with them.

I recently purchased a pre-owned car from Mazda, and I can not express how grateful I am to have had Ayache as my salesman. His assistance throughout the entire process was truly exceptional. I regret buying my car here after dealing with the service department. As an fyi, I paid to have life time coverage on oil changes, but I have to get them done there. Now I drag my feet bringing my CX-5 in because of my experience. It’s the same service advisors as when I bought it, so they mustn’t be that bad, but my experience has been bad. One time I get the oil change, when I go out to my vehicle, everything has been moved? Mirrors adjusted, seat, steering wheel - someone must’ve taken it for a coffee run. I bring it up and the response is “I’ll ask around but I doubt anyone drove it” At 30k my brakes start grinding at the front and that doesn’t make any sense…so I call the service department to ask and they tell me there’s nothing they can do and do I want to speak to the manager. I say yes, and tell him what’s going on. He pulls up my file and tells me that because I’ve declined the annual brake service, he won’t argue/push for warranty coverage. But if I had (3 years at 200$, and he would perform a 600$ service - eye roll). Not one of them ever just said “why don’t you bring it in and we will have a look and chat”. That would’ve been basic customer service. I got someone else to replace the brakes, all brakes needed to be replaced before 35k km. Not impressed. After that, I dropped my car off for another oil change and the call I get didn’t even start with a hi or who they were - just started with “So we are done your oil change - you don’t want us to do any of the recommended work?” I guess my profile has a bunch of declines so they won’t make more money off me so they don’t want to waste their time. Honestly, I was happy with the sales side of things. The sales guy at the time in 2019 was Zack/Zach and he was great. Service not so much - I didn’t find out until afterwards that Dilawri is all about $$$ and if you won’t spend a dime more they won’t give you the time of day. The oil change today went smoother than anyone in the past. I’ve had some positive experiences with one service advisor, and poor with some others. So do with this info what you will.

I’ve only ever had positive experiences with Bank Street Mazda! From the skilled and amazing sales team to the irreplaceable talent in the service centre, everything you need is all in one place. Special shout-out to Chris! When I ran into an unexpected issue with my car, he so kindly penciled me in last minute and fixed it same-day! They sold me a used car with a dead battery which killed the alternator, which after replacing both I was out 1500$ within a week of buying it. When we asked about the warranty they first tried to gaslight us that a month had passed already (which it hadn’t) and even after proving it, the warranty covered none of it. Stay away from these guys
