2012 Grand Caravan . This is the fourth car from these folks. I don't think we would shop anywhere else for a car. Super great people to do business with. They will address every single issue with your newly purchased vehicle and fix it to your standards or higher if need be. I wish all other businesses would follow their model of service and honesty . It is not by accident that they are growing by leaps and bounds. Even our friends in Toronto drive here to shop. Very. very pleased.

Went there, decided to test drive a 2007 Chrysler Sebring. Car was parked out front, so I asked if it was being bought and the salesman told me no. I continued with my test drive, and by the end I was convinced and decided to buy the car. I went in and dropped the keys off, telling the salesman I would like to purchase the car. He then proceeded to look in the system, and told me that the car had been sold while I was out on my test drive. This sort of thing shouldn't happen in a car dealership, ESPECIALLY when I asked to make sure it wasn't being sold. If you're buying a car from here, make sure that someone else isn't going to buy it while you're on your test drive.

I have had great experiences at HaldimandFirst I bought two cars from them, a Mazda 3 and a Toyota Yaris.Everything was fine however the wiper blade motor didnt work on the Mazda when we received it. They fixed it no problem just a bit inconvenient.The check engine light did come on for the Yaris about a month after I bought the car but it was the gas vapour valve on the gas tank that was causing it. I changed out the unit and went on my way. After 80,000 km and 2 years I have had ZERO other issues. The mazda had ZERO issues until the day it was crashed.We were happy and went back for a third car after a member of my family totaled the Mazda.I want to comment on the warranty. I dont know of any used car warranty that replaces parts with brand new OEM parts. Usually its refurbished.Where this dealership really shines is the low pressure sales, the high selection, the prices I find are spot on, the simplicity of test driving and the ease of doing business with them.I will be going back for a 4rth car and I recommend these guys to everybody.They don't deserve a 3.5 rating, I would say a solid 4 or 4.5

We just purchased a 2010 Dodge grand caravan. We love the car had a few issues with it since we got it.1- When we picked it up to take it home the drivers side tail lights were not working. This should have never passed a safety check. The response from Haldimond was the bulbs must have just blown. They did not as we took it for a test drive the week before and they were blown. Not a major issue I fixed it my self.2 The rear drivers side tire had a patch in it and it was on the side wall of the tire. I believe 100% that they did not know about it. The solution they replaced both tires with new ones.3 The spark plugs needed to be replaced because they were worn. Solution they replaced all the spark plugs.Ask your self if you buy a car from Joe's car lot and your mechanic finds that the spark plugs are worn down do you think they would replace them for free? Under the 30 day basic car warranty?The way it works at Haldimond is simple.. You have 30 days to take the car to a mechanic if the find anything wrong with the car Haldimond will fix it. They did it in my case. I don't know about the other reviews. But I do know my experience was very good. They are honest and reliable do they make mistakes? Yes everyone does. Do I trust them more then any other used car dealer in Canada YES! TRUST is everything. we tried all kinds of cars out at Haldimond and other dealers even found a few better deals... Elsewhere but in the end it came down to trust I would rather pay a few dollars more for someone I can trust then someone that just wants to unload what ever crap they can.I will be a loyal customer of Haldimond for life. I am a small business man and I can say they run an honest business. I recommend them 100%The bottom line is this No matter where you buy a used car from ALWAYS pay to have a independant Mechanic look at it.There is a reason why they are as big as they are. Its not because they rip people off!
