Great service

Buying my Chevy Equinox was a fun adventure. It also happened on my birthday. And the service I received from John Puchniak was absolutely excellent. I wanted to buy a quality car and save more at the same time as I have a pretty tight budget. The car I bought was already on sale of 20% but John found a way to manage more discount for me, and I was very happy with that. When the deal was made, John made a full and detailed description of different functions of the car, and was very patient to repeat for me some which I happened to forget (for instance how to switch front and back window wipers). His excellent service added to the excitement of my wonderful birthday present.

I brought my car in to have a few things done. First I had very low air pressure in 1 tire, which was the fault of a seal and was fixed up quickly. Second I needed an oil change and that was as well done up quickly. I had them check my systems to find out why my abs light is staying on and last was because I had a problem starting the engine once. It was concluded that either I have a dead spot in my starter or possibly my immobilizer is not recognizing my key fob when I try to start the engine and it shuts everything down. My experience there was great though and Rennie always helps me efficiently and affectively. He has patience while I explain all of the problems, he documents everything I say and follows up with possible solutions to fix the problems. He uses great detail in explaining to me the measures the shop will take to address my issues and comes to a quick and affordable resolution to them.

Chris was pleasant when we arrived for our service. I think he did a great job to get us in as soon as possible. In seeing that our warranty had lapsed by a bit he went to bat for us with GM in that we had extended warranty. Throughout the whole time he was friendly and pleasant. Thank you Chris.

The truck I have now is a 2015 Silverado, this is the fourth truck from Murrys in Winnipeg, that should say it all and does. No matter what the problem with your vehicle you have they treat you as a person and not just a number.

Overall, my experiences have been great. Staff are all friendly from Service Personnel down to the Shuttle drivers. My only complaint is that when I come for an oil change it is usually over an hour wait due to long line ups (maybe open more bays?). I also had an experience where I came in for a suggested alignment and it was found that my struts were leaking so they needed replacing . I was still charged for the alignment knowing full well that when my struts were replaced the following week or so another alignment would need to be completed. I felt that the first alignment should not have been done once they found out I needed the warranty work. I voiced my displeasure and I felt I was not totally heard. I was not refunded my money for a needless alignment.

Oil change was quick and efficient. Only negative was a mention on the invoice of some service required but was not advised of same. Reviewed invoice last night and found the notation.
