Instead of buying a vehicle "as is" we chose to pay more for a certified mechanically safe vehicle. We were disappointed with the Car Lot since they only start the safety mechanical after you sign and pay, and you leave with the vehicle from the lot without everything for the safety mechanical being completed. We had a list of items needing repairs and I had to spend time and gas to drive to the Car Lot multiple times. We purchased in August and only now in October it has been completed. In order to complete the mechanical safety which we felt should have been completed prior to purchase, I did not have my vehicle for 2 work days and they would not accommodate me with a loaner or a ride to work. We believe had the safety mechanical been completed prior to purchase it would have been a good experience but it was not an option.

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for taking the time to do the review, it is unfortunate that you feel this way. The reason that we do not safety the vehicle prior to putting the vehicles on the lot is that the safety is only good for 36 days, and we don't know when each vehicle will sell. We do a quick check to make sure it is safe for a road test and once you have test driven the vehicle we then give the garage a list of your concerns prior to the safety. This is our standard procedure. Went to look at a 2016 F150. Nice truck just too many KM plus and accident and had engine codes. So we choose not to buy it. We had put a $200 deposit down and they just called to remind us we had not gotten our refund. Phil was great as well. Thanks for being so ethical.
