Acceptable but not as good as expected

Biggest complaint is the lack of concern for rest of the house. When the original fiberglass unit was cut into several pieces for removal the installer had a fan blowing while working, apparently for his own comfort, but he left the room door open filling our masterbedroom with a large amount of dust from the cutting. Was also an area on the wall sections that was patched in and is very noticable.

The consultant was Mark C. who answered all our questions and explained the product and what to expect . Installation was done in 2 weeks by Glen M . who was very experienced and professional from the time he arrived till he left . Very pleased I choose Bath Fitters to do my tub and wall , build a wall and all the fittings , job well done !

2018 Review of Bath Fitter Tub Installation

Our original plans were to update our existing outdated bathtub with a Shower & Bathtub Combo complete Wall and Overhead Surround. We obtained supply prices from a couple of building supply stores. Then, I obtain the installation quotes for the work which included but not limited to removal of existing tub and enclosure, revisions to the existing plumbing, rewiring for an additional light in the overhead enclosure, modifying the ceiling to accommodate the overhead enclosure, and the installation of the new items required . With coordination of the different trades required for the above work, the timeframe for the completion of the project was the best part of two days. I arranged for a visit and quote from a Bath Fitter Sales Representative, who took measurements and gave us a quote. After numerous email inquiries, and revisions to the original quote, we placed an order and subsequent down payment, the last of November 2017. We were quoted the timeframe for installation would be 7 to 9 weeks after the placement of the order. However, we were contacted by Bath Fitter with a possible installation date a week before Christmas 2017, but we agreed to a date in the first week of 2018. Due to sickness the actual date was the second week of January 2018. The installer arrived early morning, and could have completed the work by late afternoon, except the color of the ceiling and one of the corners were not the ones designated. Bath Fitter took immediate action to correct these problems which extended the completion of the installation by a couple of hours, majority due to our distance from their warehouse. Shortly after we noticed a very minor installation issue, which Bath Fitter immediately addressed. I would recommend Bath Fitter, as we are very satisfied with our new bathroom, especially the product, the installation time and the limited amount of time we were inconvenienced.

The Estimator was quite good in explaining everything. He indicated that you would provide some form of drain "strainer" which didn't show up. Other that that, the installation guy did an excellent job. Thanks.

You damaged my property and i want it fixed. Minor damage, but to take no responsabilty is very unproffessional , would like to speak to someone in charge! We are happy with product but not happy with damage

Glen completed the job of lining our bathtub (walls had been done the previous year). He was friendly and courteous, and ensured that I knew what he was doing at all times. He would alert me if there was going to be loud noises or doors open, etc. His workmanship was perfect and he cleaned up any dirt created by the job. I would definitely recommend him for any installation of bathtub linings.

Everything was great...very good customer service...I did have one thing I would recommend for your future customers. Cutting of any kind should be done outside...I have to wash down walls in my dinning area and the bathroom because of pieces of plastic all over my walls...other than that I would recommend Bath fitters for sure!
