Purchased a used 2012 Mazda3. Sean was a good salesman and was prompt to help us. The vehicle had just come on the lot hadn't gone through the inspection, prior to us test driving it. We ultimately ended up purchasing the car, but when we test drove the vehicle, there were 3 small things that we asked to be rectified prior to driving the vehicle home (squeaking brakes when reversing, noisy air vents, and new battery for the key fob). We set up a date to pick up the car for the next week, after it had passed inspection. during the week, I sent an email asking how the inspection had gone and if the car had winter tires. No one ever replied. When we went to pick up the car, I mentioned no one had responded to my email (no apologies) and asked again if it had passed inspection and was assured that it had. No one was able to tell me if the car had winter tires. Upon driving the vehicle home, it became obvious that no one had checked out the air vents as they were still squealing. The key fob battery had also not been replaced and the brakes still squealed. About a week after purchasing the vehicle, I had to replace the windshield wipers as they were in very bad condition. When I went to replace the windshield wipers, the car also would not start. I opened the hood and realized the cause was a dead, corroded battery. I'm not sure how this could have been missed upon inspection of the vehicle. We received a voicemail from the manager following up with us to see how we liked the new car. as we were not able to leave a voicemail, I emailed the manager directly expressing my concerns. It has been a week and yet I have not received a response in reply. It has just been frustrating, as the reason we chose to purchase a car through a dealership was to avoid these types of hassles. I feel as if I could have purchased a similar car off of Craiglist at a cheaper cost. After this experience with the vehicle and lack of response, I would not recommend Murray Mazda Chilliwack to my friends and family.

I was interested in the Mazda CX-5 so got to test drive one and knew that was what I wanted to get! Everything about the SUV was explained to me simply including the protection plans and insurance! The salesman and financial manager weren’t pushy but friendly and professional!! I was very happy with my experience there! Thank you.

Kaylee (Mosimann) replied to us very promptly... She was very helpful and professional in all her communications: lovely person to deal with! Renée (financing) understood that we did not need/want any financing and respected the fact that we had driven a long way, were tired and did not want to sit through a presentation of extra coverage we were not going to buy, which we appreciated. Kaylee & Jeremy (manager) had to stay late so we could get the insurance done and drive the car away the same day. If the car is as good as the service we got, we will definitely buy from there again!

We were a little taken aback when having agreed to the purchase and made a deposit, all we had was a credit card receipt. No purchase agreement, or ?? It almost had us thinking of not going thru' with the purchase. Secondly, there was much to much push by the accountant to have us purchase extended warranties. If the product is as good as it is touted to be there shouldn't be a need for such expensive additional warranties. After all the vehicle is less than a year old and with only 9,400+/- KM's.

Ken explained the features and highlights of the vehicle. Was informative and if he did not know something he looked the answer up. Was easy to communicate with and made sure we understand the vehicle and process. We are loving our new vehicle and would not hesitate to recommend the CX-5, Ken, or the dealership!
