A thoroughly rewarding educational experience that led me to a career I love!

When I began at triOS, I was ready for change - I left an unsatisfying career that I had worked hard to build to return to school and pursue a "dream" and was uncertain if I had made the right decision; a complete leap into the unknown. After my first few weeks at triOS all traces of uncertainty were gone. I truly enjoyed the skills-focused classes and was greatly encouraged by the enthusiastic instructors teaching them. It was not long before I realized I made the right decision to return to school and begin a career in the medical field. I learned a lot (about the field and careers within, about human health, about business), built my skills, and was hired upon completion of my course!

Although the program was intense packed into six months, it did give you the basics of Web development in all of the neccesary and current computer programming languages. Unfortunately and this is not neccesarily the fault of the college, there are very few entry level web development jobs out there as everyone is looking for minimum one year experience. This makes it very hard obtaining employment after graduation. I am still looking for work in the field I went to school for.

Going to triOS was a wonderful experience. Everyone on staff was respectful and made you feel that you are important and that you can succeed. I thought I would be one of the oldest, but I wasn't, everyone is a student regardless of age.

I enjoyed the experience of meeting great people. The staff was wonderful and helpful as well as patient. My only concern was that we did not have a mentor at the premises, during the Payroll portion of the course. I would of liked to be able to have asked questions directly, instead of threw a link via "webinar". Steve had his hands full with all the students asking questions at the same time on the harder topics.

There were far too many weeks of accounting for what I needed and wanted. The head administrative team - Gladys Woodburn & Joy Mink were never in sinc with answers to simple questions daily. No extra help was ever available after or before class. I was neglected my allotted study time by Sarah Boyle on an evening before an exam and told to leave 1/2 hour early - no option. On a positive note for the college, Barbara Moore, John Starkey and Eleanor Ivan were incredibly talented and helpful during class time. They are much appreciated.
