Very unsatisfying customer service and a total lack of communication

Signed for purchase on Jan 4. I ordered a tonneau cover and side rails and was told it would take a few days. After 1 week, I was never contacted with progress. I called to find out what was happening. Was told there was a small issue with the rocker panels and the truck was sent to Ford for the repair and it would take a few more days. After another week of no contact from the sales or service department, I called again. I was then told there was more than a little work and it was going to take even longer. The next 3 days of no contact prompted me to call each day to find out. After 19 days of waiting for my vehicle, I was finally told it was ready. I was never given a courtesy vehicle and this experience cost me 2 weeks of holidays at work because I had no way of getting to and from. I had the truck in my possession for 10 mins to find the front drivers door speaker was cracked. The next morning driving the truck I felt a vibration coming from the transmission. I promptly returned the truck back to the service department where this time I actually received a courtesy car. The check engine light on the loaned car promptly lit up within 5 mins of driving prompting me to turn around to find out the issue. The service department tool 40 mins to inspect the code issue and released it van back to me. I received a call the following afternoon telling me the transmission issue was corrected and the speaker ordered. I was then told there was an underlying code on my truck with the ignition switch. Supposedly it was in the trucks computer history and not corrected before delivering to me in the first place. This entire experience took 23 days. In 23 days I had possession of my truck for 21 hours. The sales manager apologized to me for no one following up, and I believe his empathy, but it has done little to quell my feelings towards this experience.

We enjoyed our shopping experience with haldimand motors. For the money we spent, Haldimand motors could have at least filled the gas tank full. Got our vehicle with only a half tank of fuel. Its the little things that make the difference.

Great service and deals

Bought a Ford Flex late summer last year for a fair price. Ran into some issues with the radiator shortly after. I was nervous about what would happen because it was so soon after buying it but Haldimaid 100% took care of it, even covered the cost of the rental car I had to get and completely replaced everything to do with the issue ($1300 plus the cost of the rental). I totally recommend Halidmaid to all my family and friends. Thanks guys!

As I have stated we have now purchased five vehicles from Haldimand Motors. We just like the way that you do business from the sales lot to the service department. Our distance from Haldimand is the only reason we do not have our vehicles serviced there more often. From time to time we do drop in to take some vehicles for a test drive although we may not be currently in the market for a vehicle as we like to keep a bit up to date on newer vehicles. We recommend you often and we know that some of our friends have bought vehicles from you. Ali the best.

The car was priced fairly and we were offered fair value on our tradein. This was our secound purchase from Haldimand Motors and we have been very happy both times. We highly recomend these people as they are honest and easy to work with.
