Traded my 2012 Equinox for a 2015 silverado 1500 LT. It went really quick, in less than 3 hours I’m driving home with the silverado. wouldn’t be possible without the help and expertise of Isaiah, Corey and Riun! Thank you guys!

They only care about sales metrics and not customer experience. Once they make the sale don’t expect any customer service. I would recommend going elsewhere that cares about maintaining customer relationships.

We bought our car her on the reccomendation of my father who has been buying cars here for actually as long as I remember. ( maybe like 30 years) The actual purchase of the vehicle isn't the problem and was actually a pretty pleasant experience but I guess thats the trick. Our first not great interaction was our scheduled service with Rebecca, she was pleasant enough but.. we just spent 15,000 dollars and I guess I expected that to come with some quality degree of customer service.. our visit was quoted as a couple hours.. (I hear two, maybe three if it's a bad day) the actual visit was closer to 7 hours. Now I understand that things happen but there was literally no communication with us untill the car was ready. Our second not great experience was getting the brakes done.. after an online quote was given we had our appointment canceled just four hours prior and moved to the following week (frustrating but understandable, people get busy) when the day came we were quoted approximately 700 dollars and four ish hours but after four hours they called back to let us know that way more was wrong than the initial quote predicted and that our bill would nearly double also we were told that the car has not been able to be fit in and would need to be held over night, as this is not an option for us and the soul is our only vehicle I expressed my frusation the car was fixed suddenly within the hour .. why is that instantly fixable when it was not the hour before. We picked up the car and paid the 1250 dollar bill.. im not mad about the work.. it was good work. I'm not mad about it needing repairs as that's the deal with owning a vehicle .. I'm mad that there is a consistent lack of communication and consistent increase in time and price.. and honestly I would prefer a way high estimate and be happy on the return then have to pay double. The third and final straw was when the engine seized.. 13 months after buying a certified used car that is less that 7 years old with less that 150,000 km Absolutely no explanation could be offered as to the cause.. no warnings.. no lights.. no noise.. no overheating on the gauge.. just a huge engine failure. When I questioned the scenario all I was told was "yup this happens, we'll get you a new engine" when I asked what that costs I was told that "there is no way to know that without buying the parts" when I asked what my options were I was told "have you thought about buying a new car?" I spent less than 20 minutes on the internet and found that my particular model had a recall with the same problems that I seemed to be having (the dealership, service department had no idea this existed or even bothered to look for it when i asked about options) so I asked is this an option and was told "maybe, but you have to tow it to another dealer, get them to check it and then potentially tow it back after if its not an option.".. no calls, no attempt at better research.. and no further options offered.. I asked to retrieve some paperwork from my car in the lot and I the time that we walked 200 feet with the porter in the yard he pointed out a free app on my phone that had all the relevant information.. like three minutes of his time and he was more helpful than Rebecca has been in three phone calls and a meeting. I have spent 450 dollars on tow trucks and an outrageous 225 dollar "diagnostic fee" to take my car to another dealership and get the best customer service I have ever had from people that I don't owe anything too.. Now I'm on the hook for the remainder of my initial 15,000 dollar investment to SMP and once that's out if the way I genuinely look forward to never dealing with them or their horrible service department again. This is wack dudes... do better.. your dad is disappointed in you. Edit:spelling

SMP was wonderful to deal with and really care about their customers. Jeff Brown went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was ready to go to get me on my way. Jeff was really excellent to deal with. Logan in finance was also wonderful to deal with, he had all paperwork ready and was the fastest I have ever bought a vehicle. Definitely go to SMP for great service and wonderful people!
