Very very frustrating dealing with SMP today. They gave me the run around for 4hrs. Every time I challenged them, they would say “I never said that” and change their story. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle, the tire sensor was on at purchase but the shop was closed due to an event that was on that weekend. I took it in, had a nail in the tire, so they repaired it. Drove home, the next am the tire was still losing air. When I booked it in and took it in for my appointment, they tell me there’s a nail in my tire and it’s unrepairable. Same tire. Was told it was in the same spot. Well sorry, but how on earth would I manage to pick up a nail in the same spot that was just repaired?? And, if it’s in the same spot, then it shouldn’t have been repairable in the first place!! They said no, that’s not what I said and that they’d show me the repair, I waited for an hour and still no one showed me it. Kept giving excuses. Was told my tire tread was at 5/32. When I said upon purchase that I was told everything was 80% or higher, Mike from service tried to make a call and then said to me, we’ll pay half for the tires. I said, 5/32 is not 80%, Jeff agreed he said that but yet they still refuse to cover the cost of the tires because he mis-spoke and that 80% is incorrect. Then the service guy came back and said, oh when I said 5, I meant 5mm so that’s actually 6/32, which is still below 80% and they refuse to pay more than half. I’m very frustrated at their customer service, they don’t care about having a happy customer, they just care about their sales. I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend anyone to ever purchase a vehicle from SMP.

My parents have issues with their sun roof on their new car they bought from them. They were told to bring it in and they will fix it. My parents asked...are you sure you'll have the parts?? We live over 2 hrs away. They said yes we will!! So they drive in to get it fixed..but Guess what..they didn't have the parts..we will call you when the parts come in. Two weeks later they call and have them come back in....they wait around all morning just to get a call that it's going to take 3-4 days to fix!!! The mechanic wasn't at work!!! Give them a rental car to drive back in the flipping snow storm hitting today!!! There in their 80!! Come on!!!

Jeff and Jami were an absolute dream to deal with! I texted Jeff on Thursday morning and Jami called me that night that I was good to go! They even delivered the truck to me next day in Lloydminster!!!! Thanks Jeff and Jami, you two are the absolute best!!

My overall experience at the smp dealership was amazing.I had the honour to have Casey sell me my first car. He was great, funny guy, easy to talk to and made getting my car easy.
