Sold my girlfriend a vehicle that didn't pass a safety inspection at another garage. Didn't clean the vehicle properly. Didn't give all the correct paperwork and refuse to end the warranty. Sales person tried to bribe her to adjust her review. OMVIC will be notified and we will be letting them handle the situation as this dealership has been given FOUR opportunities to make this right and still refuse to do so.

I hope everyone is reading this and is aware of the horrendous trick the finance manager Ralph Haddad pulled on me before buying from KIA on Bank street. So, I was shopping around to buy a Sorento 2024 and got quotes from few dealers from the city. I got a quote from one of the KIA dealers who gave me very good price but they had only white colour in stock I strongly preferred black. Kia on Bank street had black colour in stock so I asked them if they can match it. I know I am getting in detail but I kindly request you to read this carefully so you are aware of dirty trick while signing the application. The quote which the car salesman from KIA on Bank street gave was 26,228$ Finance (with 10k down and my trade-in) and my bi-weekly would be 228$ Now, I agreed with the price and then the car salesman asked me to put 500$ deposit and asked me to wait for Finance Manager Ralph Haddad to wait for paperwork. After a while Ralph, the finance manager took me to his office and started explaining the terms. He was pushing me very hard to get extra warranty which I refused. Then he said, your credit consumption is very high because of the home mortgage and it would be helpful if I put down more as down-payment. I agreed to his suggestion and put down 18k instead of my initial plan of 10k. Now the finance manager said this will help to get your file approved faster and your bi-weekly will be 167$. I did quick maths in my head and said the numbers doesn't make sense. I expect the bi-weekly payment to be more lower than 167$. Then he took out the calculator and fooled me by tricking 167 * 26 payments in a year * 5 years term mortgage = 21,710$ plus extra 8k that you are putting down = 29,710$ whereas if you had put 10k down then it was 228$ payment * 26 payments * 5 years tenure = 29,640$ So the numbers are almost matching and the slight difference that you see if the Finance application charge. So even though I was not convinced I agreed since he showed the maths with calculator and thought that I might have missed something when I did calculation in my head. So we went ahead and signed the papers. I came outside the dealership but the calculation was still lingering in my head and I decided to check it again by pulling out a mortgage calculator. The correct way to do that was since 26,228$ was the amount due with 10k Down and since I agreed to put 18k instead of 10k the balance should have been 26,228 - 8000 = 18,228$ And 18,228$ with 5 years tenure on 4.99% interest should have been 157$ bi-weekly payment. I was now convinced of the trick that he had pulled on me and then went back inside to ask about it. Then he kept on saying you already got a good discount and you can back off from the deal if you don't agree. I wanted the black colour so badly so I am still going ahead with the deal even when I know he horrendously fooled me and it is very unethical way of doing business. While walking out of his office I looked around to see if they have any cameras so when I complain I have proof of the conversation which we had. No wonder there are no cameras. But I am definitely going to complain about this unfair and deceptive business practice to the Consumer affairs office and Better business bureau in a hope that such practices are severely penalised. I just hope everyone reading this is now aware of the trick the finance managers of any car dealership may play and don't fall for it. Update: I got a call from the dealership that they are cancelling the deal for posting this google review.

I recently had a disappointing experience at a Kia dealership. After putting down a $500 deposit to reserve a car, the salesperson assured me that I could cancel at any time with a full refund if I changed my mind. However, when I attempted to cancel the next day, the finance representative threatened to impact my credit score since they had my license information, and insisted that I was obligated to purchase the car. Additionally, when I mentioned the salesperson's earlier assurance, they denied ever making such a statement. Overall, the discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered left me feeling unsatisfied with the service provided by the dealership.
