Be careful when shopping here. Let me drive from far Montreal when car was already sold even after confirming car was still available!!! Outright lies. Strong suspect for odometer roll back. Don't understand how they have such good reviews!!! Suspicious!!

Visited a car beginning of the week and liked it. Called a few days later to see whether it was still available and whether it was ok to pass by with an inspector- was told yes. Left work early, braved over an hour of traffic from montreal only to be told that apparently a lady from Ontario already put a deposit on it (a non refundable deposit apparently, without even seeing the car) and was coming the next morning to visit it and buy it if it was to her liking. I right away knew something was dodgy because their story made no sense. My inspector (who has over 26 years of experience) thinks they are hiding something (most likely they tampered with the odometer- common for St-Jean dealers) and did not want us inspecting the car. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t tell me their lie over the phone sparing me the time and money (I still had to pay the inspector $200 for his troubles). Buyer be ware! This business seems dodgy and people working here are inconsiderate and dishonest individuals. I do not know how their rating is so high, I can only imagine that they have found a way to fake this as well!

Le mot qui me vient à l’esprit en pensant à l’achat de notre voiture aujourd’hui chez AUTOMAX est extraordinaire. Autant le personnel que la flotte de véhicules sont incroyables. Le propriétaire et le vendeur ont été super gentils et rassurants pour ma mère et moi qui étions un peu inquiètes face à l’achat d’un nouveau véhicule. Nous ressortons heureuses de nous apercevoir qu’il existe encore de bonnes et honnêtes personnes dans le commerce en 2017. Merci AUTOMAX
