I graduated from the Medical Office Assistant program in 2016 and while I enjoyed my experience taking the course - finding a job in my field was a challenge. It has now been 2 years and I feel like I have gotten no where. I have come to realize that it's harder to get a job in an industry that 9 times out of 10 requires for you to already have work experience. The industry in itself, isn't as viable as I had hoped it would be and therefore, I am looking into going back to school in a different field. Taking the course was a great accomplishment for me and I have no regrets - but I wish the transition from school to work had been more seamless as a whole. I feel schools like Trios need to build more partnerships with employers so that students don't feel like they are left strand.

I graduated in 2016 from the Mississauga campus as a Community Service Worker (CSW). Previously i had worked in a totally different field, i lost my job and decided to make a change in my career. i decided on Trios for a couple of reasons; one that the course was only one year in length and two; i would be able to complete an internship. From the moment I walked through the doors to Trios, everyone gave me the feeling of warmth and made me feel that i can be successful in my new choice of career. As my career began, I would meet one of the most influential woman in my life, my instructor Nancy Gibbs. The first lesson i learnt from her was to get to know myself, and to find out if I was capable of being a source of help to other people. The CSW field called for you to be emphatic and compassionate, I found Nancy to be all of those things and more. She taught me to be unbiased and accepting of everyone, even when they gave you a reason not to be kind to them. Thank you Nancy, you are my hero. As I moved through my course I also had Joanne Bradley, my Employment Specialist, who spent a lot of time guiding me through my career choices and never stopped supporting me, even now. Thank you Joanne. I have found a field that I can make a difference in people's life one person at a time, and I have trios to thank for that. Love you all..

Hi I am a new immigrant to Canada. Having worked as professor in an Engineering collage back home, I wished to change my career in this new country. I chose"Accounting and Payroll Specialists" course in trios Mississauga campus. I can say that that was the best ever decision I took for my career and family. Right from the staff at the reception to the employment specialist, I was surrounded by wonderful and passionate people, who wanted to make a difference in my life. Words are not enough to tell how much I have evolved as a person both professionally and personally. I joined college last Dec and this year Nov I am employed!!!!! I need to thank all my staff - Steven Potts, my accounting and payroll instructor, Trudie, my business communication and MS office instructor and last but not the least Joanne, my employment specialist. All rights reserved them worked in tandem with only one motive - to make me job ready. After my course, I got opportunity to do my internship with one motive f the best payroll providers in Canada!!!! After completion, I got job offer too and that too in a career of my choice. Thanks trios I helping me realising my dream in Canada. Wish you all success in your future endeavors

The best campus ever! Since starting triOS college in June, it has been uphill in learning & relationships being born from there! I have found the staff are very friendly, and willing to assist when needing help. The learning experience is brand new as the program that I am taking is in Supply Chain & Logistics....a whole new world to what is out there is being presented; and it is exciting to be apart of this experience. The professors give an outlook of how the relation of Supply Chain and the real world entwine or collaborate with each other...IT IS ON HIGH DEMAND! They are very friendly and informative, and they as well are willing to help in the success of each student; the willingness to help succeed is awesome! There is no place like home...but it is close to it when around good people, whether it be colleagues who soon become close friends, or professors wanting the best from you so to prepare for the real world of the course you take! Where learning meets real world...the world of possibilities is endless when at the triOS Scarborough Campus

I worked in the banking sector for more than 10 years back home in Egypt and when I came to Canada a year and half ago I started looking for a job for 5 months but with no luck. I realized that I need to continue studying to add to my experience and find a good job in the Canadian market. I knew about "Accounting & Payroll" program. This is when my journey with triOS College began. Among different colleges offering the same program, I chose triOS college as It was the only college offering internship and this was a big opportunity for someone like me with no Canadian experience. I met with the lovely Bernadette Balano, she was so helpful, she explained everything concerning my OSAP. My courses started with the Microsoft courses, where my instructor was Trudie Davidson. Trudie is a very professional instructor, she was able to enhance my capabilities in her different courses. Not only that but also, she taught respect and kindness. Then here comes the bigger part of my success journey. My instructor, Steven Potts. Steve, not only taught accounting and payroll which he quiet mastered to teach us but also trained us very well how to face real life. How to be independent, hard workers and attentive details. During my studying, I met Joanne Bradley, my employment specialist, she was such a professional lady. She helped to volunteer in an accounting office during my studies. And when my internship time was close, she helped setting me up with one the biggest payroll companies. Not only that, but as soon as I finished my internship, she sent me a job vacancy in triOS - Head Office, I was interviewed and got the job. During all my courses, Mariam Frederick, our Campus Director was offering all the help she could offer in many different situations. Thank you triOS College and thank you Mississauga Team, you really built with me the one I am now.

I recently completed my Accounting and Payroll course at the Trios College Mississauga facility. My 10 months time at Trios was an eye opener and having an education in my chosen country for the first time really opened up opportunities for me in the job market. I was looked at more positively by potential employers and I felt first hand on how much Trios training has helped me in this process. Joanne Bradley the Employment Specialist at the Mississauga location was a huge help in getting me placed at an appropriate Organization for my Internship period and was always finding me ways to approach the job market in a professional manner. My sincere thanks to Joanne, all the other staff were equally good and in particular, Trudie Davidson is such a wonderful person and teacher whom I can never forget.

I recently completed the Accounting and Payroll course with triOS College at the Mississauga Campus. As a new immigrant, I was concerned about which program to study so as to be ready for the Canadian employment market. Ms. Marcie Bracker, Education Counsellor explained to me in great detail about all the programs available at triOS and helped me select the right program taking into consideration my prior experience and career goals. Another concern for me was how to finance my Canadian diploma education but Mr. Chris Seon; Financial Aid Officer helped me with my OSAP application and ensured I received the eligible OSAP funding. At triOS, I meet and studied under some of the best teachers namely, Ms. Trudie Davidson and Mr. Steve Potts. Both of them are who are very knowledgeable and experts in their respective fields. They both are extremely supportive and go above and beyond to ensure that the students are able to learn the concepts. They are genuinely concerned about the student’s success. Both of these amazing teachers insured that the students are equipped and ready to face the real corporate world immediately after finishing school. I would also like to thank Ms. Joanne Bradley, Employment Specialist at triOS Mississauga campus who works tirelessly to ensure that the students get the best of the internship and provides all the needed assistance to students in their job search/placement. It is with the help and support of all the above mentioned people that I was able to secure full time job with of the one the best payroll companies in Ontario immediately after completing my internship.
