Fantastic. Working with Ted and Vicki is a pleasure. They make the car buying experience pleasant and stress-free. Thanks again.

5 stars to Shane and Kathryn. 0 stars to the service department. First service they lost my summer tires. Once they had been found it took a second visit and two hours to install them. Second service car is three months old and they try and upsell me on a cabin air filter. Service takes an hour and a half. Third service they find and plug a nail hole in a tire for an additional cost of $76. Three days later I’m changing the tire because the plug didn’t hold and the tire is flat. I call and talk to Rob Hogg he says they need the car the entire next day to fix it. I take the tire to the tire guys down the street it takes them ten minutes and only costs $20 for a proper patch on the inside of the tire (not a cheap $76 plug) Fourth service car is 6 months old. Another hour and a half wait and they try and upsell me on a brake job. I say no and they make sure to put a note on the receipt "customer refused brake service" I just tried to schedule a fifth service and of course its winter tire season so they tell me I can’t get an appointment on a Saturday for a month. Which would maybe be fine if I drove short distances. I drive a lot. In another four weeks it will almost be time for the sixth service. I really wanted to like this service department. Hopefully it gets better. If you drive a lot, I can’t recommend it. It's not reliable enough, the work has been questionable and the wait times have been ridiculous.

Horrible experience at this Toyota. My dad went and asked if a car on their lot was available and was told it was. We waited an extended period of time for it to be test driven after which my dad wanted to buy it. Almost two hours later, my dad had the papers in his hand for the purchase of his car and the dealership had his signed ownership for his trade-in. It was their easiest sale. Only to have a phone call later to tell him that he CANNOT HAVE THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY SOLD! After a couple of hours, three different employees, and even a computer system, no one was able to realize this!??? What a waste of time. Furthermore, they sent back only part of the signed ownership, with NO WRITTEN APOLOGY, NO OFFER TO PAY FOR THE COST OF A REPLACEMENT OWNERSHIP, and NO ATTEMPT to show a gesture of goodwill for the time spent there and wasted, and the time he now has to spend replacing the ownership, BUT they did call him to say an older and different model was available to buy!! As if he would drive from the city back to Collingwood and give these sales people his time and money again. SO DISAPPOINTED in the way this unfolded.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and frustration you and your father experienced. I would like to take the time to address your concerns. We are very sorry for the internal miscommunication that allowed the sales process to proceed when it should have stopped. In this case the sales representative who originally sold the vehicle neglected to remove it from the display area. This staff member was not scheduled to work for a couple of days and thus not available to correct the issue prior to your father visiting the dealership. Sometimes there are many factors that are a part of a vehicle sale and multiple departments. We try to manage all the angles and make all parties happy. It is also a very fast paced business, and sometimes, it is difficult to keep up with all details and maintain strong communication while managing many files at one time. It was unpredictably busy the morning of your visit and though we recognize that is not your problem, it unfortunately played a role in the oversight. Again, we are very sorry for the breakdown in communication in this instance, and how it negatively affected your experience. We do pride ourselves as a low pressure sales environment and really do intend to help people as best we can. We are family owned and operated and have been in the local automotive business for over 70 years. We sincerely do try to take a kind helpful approach to business and supporting our community. Though, our internal process is typically strong, as we have a team of staff who have been working together for many years, we do make mistakes. We too were disappointed to inform your father of this unfortunate news. And again, are sorry for that. Our sales staff on that day, and myself a couple of times since, have spoken with your father and felt that all parties had reached an agreeable understanding. Your suggestion of a written apology will be a topic of discussion as internal processes evolve vs considering verbal communication to be satisfactory. We spoke with your father last week about your concern regarding the ownership. From that conversation we established that he does have all pieces of his ownership, and that is not an issue. If this turns out to not be the case we will definitely reimburse the cost of replacing the ownership. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact myself, David McArthur, Sales Manager, and I would be happy to talk with you. Sincerely, David
