Program:: Advanced Business Office Applications, Advanced Excel Pros: Admissions counselor was helpful Front desk staff are amazing - Always smiling and ready to help Instructors are knowledgeable and well suited to their specific curriculum Helpful classmates Fun student activities; including charitable fundraising Convenient parking (Kitchener location) Internal Job Boards and Job Fairs Cons: Some textbooks need to be updated with correct / current content. This did not deter from the leaning, however it did cause unnecessary confusion; therefore the issue needs to be addressed

Great campus, friendly staff, teachers generally pleasant and up to date in respective fields. I do find it is very lax in disiplinary standards. Rampant and obvious cheating on exams, quizes etc which were ignored by a certain teacher no matter how much proof he was showed and saw him self. This doesn't help change the view held by a majority of pepole that career colleges aren't worth anything. Respect for your schools is earned, focus on respect for those doing the school work, making the effort every day.

I had a mixed experience at TriOS. I was in the ITA stream for 12 months. I was delivered the courses I paid for but in some cases I feel I did not get good value for my money. Specifically due to the lack-lustre attitude and "teaching" of one instructor in particular. I had written about this particular instructor in a review prior so I won't go into detail here. My primary instructor Mark Hemingway on the other hand is a delightful instructor. He knows the material and makes it interesting. He keeps the course entertaining even through the boring parts. If it had been him through our Exchange course than I would have a greater overall view of my time. Overall, I would not recommend TriOS college to anyone. It's a business that, at least for the IT courses, has lost it's way. I realize it's important to learn about the history of IT but I had to go through 2 courses of nearly identical material about irrelevant technology. This could have been replaced with flexible course of something more useful like cloud technology or a primer on scripting or even entrepreneurship. Anything but Blackberry. This lack of concern over a relevant curriculum is where I realized it's a business and not a school I'm proud to say I've gone to. It was worth it in regards to setting a schedule of waking up early and having learning tasks assigned to me. I rediscovered my love of learning and I'm grateful for that.

I found all my Instructors very good, they explained things well, but my medical office assistant instructor Judy Whiting was outstanding, every day she went the extra mile to make sure her students had all the information needed to be successful in the course. She explained things thoroughly and she was the subject to some of the girls frustration and was treated unfairly a lot of time. After I was finished my course I used Judy as a reference and I had a job in the medical field one after the completion of my course. The only thing I didn't like about the course was,it was to crammed and I forgot a lot of the medical terminology.

Your bullet of Be Respectful is very unusual and an insulting to ones intelligence and character. All the people I interacted with during my term at Trios were very helpful, professional and personable. I would highly recommend the school to further ones career. It was nothing but positive and rewarding. I enjoyed my time at Trios. Hopefully you will eliminate the first bullet request for it seems negative and counter productive. Thanks for the time and learning experience at your college.

Trios college understands it's students needs but does not always put them first.

Office staff was extremely friendly and very helpful, ie, course information and funding assistance. Instructors were so inciteful. For the most part, fellow students in all career areas were quite nice and have now become friends.

My stay at triOS college was well satisfied and well spent because the work load wasn't overbearing for people in the older generation and all the teachers and staff at triOS were so welcoming and friendly and fun. I am going to miss being at triOS college
