I was assured "Gold Star" service from Alex Shaffernicht, though I'm curious to know what that means. I had arranged to have my truck looked at due to faulty steering controls and some other issues through Laura Westlake in their service department. The first time we had made an appointment I was told I could be "shuttled" home if I like, but had to reschedule for a second time as I would need a vehicle for work and they did not have a suitable replacement at the time. I was then told they would have a Suburban or Tahoe as a replacement for my next appointment, which I agreed to. When I had arrived, there was NO vehicle and was told I had to wait. After 45 minutes had passed, I was already late for work, and had no other option than to leave. There was no follow up to rectify the matter either. UNACCEPTABLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.**BUYER BEWARE** The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. I sincerely regret having purchased my truck from Georgian Chevrolet in Barrie, Ontario.
