Made an appt. approx. 3 weeks in advance and on the day of the appt. was told they were backed up and would need the vehicle for several days. Not what I expected with a pre planned appt!!

How wish there is a zero star rating, i would have given it to you guys. So today November 8th, 2024, i decided to try SMP Saskatoon Circle drive for car service. The sole reason was just for oil change, front wiper blade change, air filters and break fluid if bad. Also to do an inspection cos i thought i was hearing some sounds. So on talking with the sales rep, it got to estimate of around 278. I said alright go ahead with it. On returning to pick up my car, i saw a bill of 848.16 from 278.16 estimate that was given to me in the morning before i left. Now to break the cost down, cost of parts was 254.91 and labour was 448.77 plus miscellaneous 60.44 (and what is miscellaneous that isn't part of the labour nor the parts). How on earth would cost of labour be 448 twice cost of parts just for oil change, wiper change, torquing, breakfluid, replacing filter. Even if I'm a novice when it comes to doing minor chances like filter change, wiper changes etc, you guys shouldn't use it as avenue to swindle people of their hard earned money. Thats fraudulent indeed. Now breaking it down, i requested for inspection only to end up being charged for two inspections. First inspection was for engine concern. They charged 107.40 for that. Then another inspection called multipoint inspection. They charged 119.95 for that as regards torquing. So i don't understand, do I need to pay for different inspections on one car and did i ever tell you guys i want to torque my vehicle. I just changed to brand new tires at North Hyundai and if any torquing in required i know where to take it. Oil change which is even why i came, was charged 111.46. At the end of everything as regards to how every other dealership does, even when i did just oil change at precision Hyundai in Calgary, my car was washed. Instead when SMP brought my car, it was as dirty as hell. They couldn't even wash it. Any time you guys see me, friends and even my enemies cars in your dealership again for anything, just know that I am foolish. You guys are just a waste of money.
