Two weeks ago, our under warranty Santa Fe had complete engine failure. Nobody checked our detailed voice mail after CAA dropped the car off late Saturday night (nor did anyone return my voice mails about the current recall in effect). After explaining several times to the person who called asking why the car was dropped off, nobody looked at my car for 3 days because they were busy doing seasonal tire changes. Once they got to it, they advised the engine had seized up completely and needed to be replaced. I was pleasantly surprised to hear a new engine had arrived by the end of that first week, but in the 8 days since the engine arrived, nothing has been done and no loaner car yet so the daily taxis to work continue. I would be happy to upgrade this review but so far Hyundai doesn't seem to take "catastrophic car failure" very seriously, and I can't seem to get them to understand that an expensive car under warranty that completely died HAS to be a higher priority than tire changes...they sound surprised that we are upset about this situation. That gives us second thoughts about future car purchases (we'll soon need a second car, too) but we're giving them a chance still to save us as customers... UPDATE: we got our car back and it's running better than ever after the engine was replaced. And they also took care of the recall on our model. I honestly don't think we would have been as upset if the initial responses and updates had set expectations better. A client who's under warranty car just died does NOT want to be told "we're busy with tire changes so it will take some time"....even a white lie or vague statement is better than that sort of update.

So first I would like to say that Nikki Adewumni Scott "the car lady" is the most amazing saleswoman in Ottawa! She is extremely professional, fun to work with and always makes your visit to Hyundai special. She takes great care of not only her customers but her customers cars aswell! I would also like to give a very well deserved shout out to Kora at the service desk ! She is super kind and easy to deal with. 5 out of 5 for both of them 🦀✨️

I took my Elantra for scheduled maintenance. After telling them to do ONLY services recommended by Hyundai I got a huge bill for services performed, one recomendable not until 36,000 more kms. Another one not even a service in the Hyundai Maintenance Schedule. I feel they push you to buy services that the vehicle doesn’t need and I find it dishonest

if 0 stars were possible - i would give it. bought a 2020 elantra in july of 2020. ive had to fight for all of the issues i have to even be heard. i have replaced the battery after a year of fighting with them, the whole computer, the back emblem for rusting, the windshield washer fluid tube, the brakes (which they made me pay over $500 for after only driving the car for a year and paying for extended warranty for the whole car). im sure theres more im forgetting right now. they tried to scam me an extra $6000 when i first bought it and i shouldve walked away buy i really needed a car and i was a naive 19 year old. now will never trust another dealership after having this be my first brand new car experience. am now fighting with them about my tires which are unsafe and they refuse to do anything about it. i have left my name and number with the service manager multiple times and no response ever. even did the survey and put a horrible review and nothing. ive been talked down to and ignored and told my concerns are invalid because i “dont know what im talking about” this is by far the most frustrating experience ever. ive also had so many problems when actually getting service. went to get my tires changed - dropped it off the night before and had an appointment at 8am - went there at 11am which they promised it would be ready i was told it wasnt ready yet and that the promised time was only an “estimate” yet they promise less than 2 hours. still paid full price for everything and got attitude from the service employees for complaining. as soon as my free service was up, told them to give me my file so i could go somewhere else because of all the bs ive dealt with. i have so much more to say but not enough time or space. maybe now ill get a response. will never buy from them again, avoid at ALL COSTS !!!!!

If there is such a thing as honest car sales people these might be them. Sold me a car at a great price, no games, no bid wars. The car came in a month after we made the deal. It was a week late, which they had told me from the beginning was possible. Shane Micheal kept checking every day to see if my car had come in, and he let me know the minute it arrived. Shane rushed the preparation for me and two days after arrival I picked it up. He was a pleasure to deal with.

I was an original customer of the Bells Corner Hyundai. When that site closed, my file was transferred over to Myers Hyundai. My original enquiry was to obtain an emailed copy of the warranty/Tricor policy details on a priorly purchased new Hyundai vehicle. May 9th: I received a response from Nicola stating that I should contact Tricor for my warranty details. I contacted Tricor with my policy number and they said they do not forward the policy details, this information is stored with dealership. May 9th 17:44: Nicola forwarded this request to the management team May 14th no reply, so I re emailed Nicola May 16th Nicola forwarded this to request to business managers: Samer, Soleiman and Jamshid. May 24th no reply. I have emailed the above group and have forwarded this concern with Hyundai Canada. I am happy to update this review if and once I receive a response. June 2 have received reply from Nicola with some information on warranty. Have not heard from any of the above managers. Pending further reply from Hyundai Canada for full warranty file

We were out of town for a month and shopping for a vehicle online, we found the perfect used vehicle at Myers! Shane made the process so easy and seamless. He personally went out and took a video of the vehicle for us, he checked out every little detail we asked him to and he was so accommodating. He PROMISED us that the vehicle was spotless and when we finally saw the vehicle in person, he was not wrong. We would absolutely buy a vehicle from Shane again!!
