These guys are the definition of shifty car salesmen, this ones for you Nick. I decided to give the dealership another chance being under new management and boy was that ever a mistake. They prey on the vulnerable and use it to their advantage. They knew getting a loan on my own was a huge deal, however didn't respect how I felt or my wishes, made me feel as if I was going to loose out of I didn't take what was offered to me. I tried to leave multiple times as I had two young kids with me and they literally pawned my children in with icecream after telling them I was done and leaving. I have recently contacted nick to let him know about the issues I am now having a couple of months later. He rudely took my call, trying to blame me for issues I've presented to him. We talked about refinancing into something different, and then, Radio silence. The last message I recieved from nick was letting me know he'd have some options for me, and I quote "momentarily." That was 26 days ago. I can confidently say I will never bring my buisness back to them, nor will i recommend anyone I know to waste any time or money in such a poorly managed establishment. The level of professionalism here is so piss poor, and this is supposed to be the sales manager. Over all it was an extremely overwhelming experience with my two small children in tow and they used that to their advantage. Never again.

A few weeks ago we purchased a used vehicle from Campbell River Honda. Rex, Raphael and the entire team treated us with respect, kindness and helpfulness. We were not pressured and when we did come to a decision they were terrific in getting us on the road as quickly as possible. Recently we had a question about the functionality of the vehicle and they took the time we needed to better understand how the car worked. Every time we visit the staff are welcoming, friendly and are always willing to assist in every way possible. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership for new or used vehicles.

We had our 2007 CRV towed to the Honda service department at the suggestion of the tow company after I experienced some brake line issues. The service department was closed, although my husband did speak to someone on Saturday and gave them a heads up. I called late Monday afternoon and they hadn't looked at the car yet. Best case scenario, the service advisor said, was they would look at it that night-worst case scenario, the next morning. Come late Tuesday afternoon, they still hadn't looked at my car and offered me the same explanation. Finally by Wednesday they looked at the vehicle and determined they needed to order a part and my car wouldn't be done until Friday. Fast forward to Monday morning when we were finally able to get out to the dealership, my car made terrible noises the minute I drove off of the lot. Pulled a U-turn and headed straight back. After some argumentative back-and-forth about what could be causing the issue, they tried to write it off as a brake issue (even though the noise was happening while accelerating), rust on my rotors, or it having sat for days?? They had the mechanic come out and take the car for a drive. The noise was loud and obvious. He hopped out of the car, crawled underneath it and bent something back into place that THEY had damaged during their repairs. Noise gone. Not sure I'd be as dissatisfied with the experience if there was more honesty with turnover times, or if we weren't blamed for the noises coming from my car that did not exist before dropping it off. I've dealt with rusty rotors, I know what it sounds like. Brakes felt and sounded fine. I suggest taking your customer's concerns more seriously and trying to be less combative/argumentative, although I do expect a sassy retort as that seems to be their customer service style.

Thank you very much for your review. We will never improve if we don't recognize or shortcomings. We sincerely understand the frustration of have a vehicle become disabled. There is never a good time for something like this to happen to us. Timing was bad in this instance as our shop forman had a two day medical appointment that Monday and Tuesday so we were short those two days. The conversation was that we hoped to get it in Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning to get a good look. We were able to bring it in briefly Tuesday, but it was determined the brakes would need to come apart to complete a proper assessment. We, unfortunately did not have the capacity at that time to disassemble the brakes and tie up a hoist due to pre-scheduled customer appointments. We were able to complete the assessment Wednesday, after our shop forman had returned to work. I had offered to prepare an estimate, but John said to me he just wanted it fixed and to order what ever was necessary. We found the RH rear brake cable was seized and placed that part on order. The part came in Friday afternoon and we squeezed the vehicle in to try to get it finished before the end of day as requested. The work was completed Friday before 4:30. Our tech noted the rotors on the vehicle are very rusty and will cause some noise as the rub on the brake pads. The vehicle was picked up Monday morning. There was noise from the brakes. We checked with our shop forman who, without looking as he was in the middle of an engine replacement, reminded us that the rotors are badly corroded and could be the source of the noise. I relayed that to you, but you stated it didn't sound like it did the last time you drove. I advised, with the brakes seized, we had not had a chance to drive it ahead of bringing it in to the shop so we were unable to know the state of the vehicle prior. I also advised that our shop forman was in the middle of a delicate part of the operation he was on and I would have him come out for a road test once he was at a good point to step away. I had also stated the noise could be as simple as a rotor rubbing on a backing plate. After a quick road test, it was determined that this was the issue and only required straightening out the backing plate. I apologize for the time it took to complete the repair. Though I had explained our circumstances I'm sorry we were unable to meet your expectations. We will strive to be better in this regard. I apologize that you felt we were being argumentative during our discussions. No communication was ever intended to be argumentative, disrespectful or meant in any negative way. Only to attempt to explain what may be causing the noise. We certainly had every intention to have the tech who worked on the vehicle road test it with you to confirm the noise and determine a cause. Happily, it was a very simple correction needed. We, at Campbell River Honda, hope you continue to enjoy your CR-V for many years to come. Thank you once, again.
