I purchased a vehicle from the Ottawa location approximately three years ago. When I purchased the vehicle they told me I needed to buy the extended warranty or else the bank would not be able to give a low interest rate, and that it would technically pay for itself. The day after purchasing the vehicle I called the financial institution who informed me that the extended warranty would have no effect on my interest rate. I cancelled the warranty. I traded the vehicle in this week at another location to be presently surprised that the vehicle I had bought from Car Canada had been involved in an accident with over $3000 worth of damage, after I had been assured by the salesperson that it had not been in an accident or used as a rental. I remember thinking after I bought the vehicle that they never showed me the carfax report, now I know why. Make sure you ask for the report, don't take their word for it.
