My two sons have each bought a truck from Lakewood. The second one went there because of his older brothers positive reviews. It's interesting how they say that a positive review that ends in a new customer buying a truck gets you a thank you cheque..... It's been a few months and that still hasn't happened. False promotion?

So excited to pick up my new Corvette today! My sales person Linda Desjarlais & Manita Bains from finance were amazing & made the process super easy & fun. Actually everyone I met at Lakewood was very helpful & customer centric. If you're looking for a car & want someone who'll go the extra mile give Linda a call. I'm so mad at myself for not coming here earlier now that I'm moving to another province I've always used those quick lube places like Mr.Lube and Lube City and have heard bad stories lately about them and had a bad experience with Mr. LUBE before until my good friend John from Herbers Auto Body recommended that I check this dealership out and I looked at the online reviews wich were great so I made an appointment. There super easy to get to and find and the staff is super friendly and I felt really good and confident leaving my vehicle with them and I find there not the types to scam you into something you don't need they are very upfront and straight foward and right away looked for recalls on my vehicle! Wich I have never exspirenced with the quick oil places. I highly recommend this place! They also have a nice waiting room too while your there. Thanks Lakewood Chevrolet :) if you have any places you recommend in Burnaby b.c. that would be awesome ;)

Never met someone as patient and understanding as Corey! Being a very picky shopper, I'm pretty much every salesman's worst nightmare. Words cannot describe how well him and the Lakewood Chevy team took care of me and accomodated my needs and special requests. By far the best customer service experience I've had in a long time! After terrible service at Schwab's GMC/Chevy in Leduc(on more then one occasion) we decided to drive into Edmonton and take our GMC Terrain to Lakewood for a few services. They were fast, honest and treated our vehicle with respect. We will be returning to Lakewood for all our services from now on. Great job guys! Thank you! -T&J

Updated as of Mar 3, 2016 After making my post originally I finally got to talk to the General Manager of Lakewood Chevrolet, Kerry Russell. He listened to what I had to say, understood the root of my frustration, and did what he could to resolve the issue. He went out of his way and even contacted GM to see what they would be willing to do to help my situation, and he did what he could on his end. Manita in finance was thorough and made sure I understood everything. She also answered any questions I had. I was finally able to trade in my cursed Cruze, and move on to an Equinox. I had a minor glitch with my Equinox this morning. Dan Bass made sure I would be able to get in as soon as I got there for service to take a look at it, he even offered to personally pick up my vehicle if I was not able to leave work. Erika in service is always very pleasant. Head of service also personally showed me the part that was causing the glitch and explained what it was doing. It was a bit frustrating that it took so long to be able to talk to Kerry, and get GM involved, but it has been a huge relief to get rid of my lemon, huge weight off my shoulders. I thank everyone at Lakewood Chevrolet for their help. I am really enjoying my Equinox. Rae was amazing to work with, she is an incredible sales rep that went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Previous Experience: Dealing with Lakewood has been an absolute nightmare! I bought my first brand new car from them, a Chevrolet cruze. I got a brand new car because I did not want to deal with the headache of the constant repairs on an older vehicle. What I ended up with was a brand new car that requires constant repairs. 2 months in I started having major issues. I have had my fuse box replaced, the entire cooling system replaced, the fan blade replaced, I have squealing hub caps, squealing brakes (which I was told there is nothing I can do about them), when highway driving every single window frosts over on the inside and makes it dangerous to drive (heating elements in the back window must be turned on for the entire drive to see out the back, as well as the heat blasting on the windshield to have a circle to see thru), upon other issues. Despite all these issues Lakewood refuses to replace the vehicle. I'm stuck basically paying 300 a month to rent a vehicle for 4 years and losing my old one because I will never finance the last 4 years with inevitable thousands in repairs to come. A few months ago I tried to go in to get an SUV and was told by a sales member that he couldn't give a shit if he never got my business again. Despite that horrible encounter I gave them the benefit of the doubt and recently tried to go back again. In the end they would not transfer my lease but only add my old lease to a new one so essentially it would be like paying for 2 vehicles. They told me if the payments are too high then I should wait out my lease and come back. COME BACK?! If I have to wait out my lease I guarantee you I will NEVER go back. On top of that, on one instance, I went there to get an oil change done as the car came with 4 free oil changes and they did not even fill up my oil! I had to go buy oil and top it off as they do not even fill it up! Every time I bring my car in I get it back with new black grease streaks on the ceiling of the vehicle from the guys dirty caps, gross!

Great people , great service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a vehicle from Lakewood and was amazed on how much they care about the customer. All the staff are very friendly. Always offering a complimentary coffee, tea, pop, and water. I can only recommend Lakewood to everyone.
