Most disappointing car purchase of my life.

Just picked up my new vehicle and could not be more disappointed in my experience with Jackson's Toyota. Having previously owned both Lexus and Toyota vehicles I am shocked by how poorly they handled this. This is the first 1-star review I have ever left. I came in and purchased a vehicle the same day from Rohit, did not play games, shop other dealers, etc. My wife and I agreed that evening that if I purchased alloy wheels thru Jackson's they would switch the all-season tires onto those alloys (leaving me the standard wheels to put winter tires on). In my mind this was part of the deal we made for purchasing the vehicle thru Jackson's. The next day I confirmed which alloys we wanted and asked them to price match another dealer on the alloys which they agreed to, but then when it came time to pickup the car there was going to be an extra charge to swap the tires because they had matched the price on the alloys. Very sneaky. I expressed my dissatisfaction multiple times before picking up the car giving them an opportunity to rectify the situation and they did not care at all claiming they did not have enough margin to do so. Be careful with this dealership, in my experience they proved to be sneaky and greedy and put the cost of a simple tire swap ahead of honouring their word and having a satisfied customer on a new vehicle purchase. They will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale but obviously do not care about their customers. At the end of the day, actions speak louder than words. I'll be having my rustproofing done at Krown tomorrow and tires swapped (at my expense) at Costco the day after. I shouldn't need to be running extra errands and paying for something Jackson's originally agreed to cover, but after this experience they will never see another dime from me and I will be sure to let everyone know how poor my experience with their dealership has been. There are plenty of other Toyota dealers around that would have had my tires on the alloys ready to go when I picked up my brand new vehicle. Way to ruin what is supposed to be an exciting moment in someone's life. My Tundra needs new leaf springs which are about $2500 but I will just go to Newmarket or Orillia for those to avoid supporting this place. As a silver lining, big thanks to Megan who was super pleasant and helpful with the licensing and paperwork. Lessons learned: 1) Get EVERYTHING in writing, no matter how minor 2) Go elsewhere Buyer beware indeed :( EDIT: Just checked the wheels they put in the trunk and they are some aftermarket rims not the OEM wheels I paid for. Just when I thought it could not get any worse they have disappointed me even further. EDIT 2: The wheels I paid for back in February (3 months ago) are now backordered and not available so I need to arrange a refund and make alternative arrangements.

This was my second purchase through Andrew Black. Andrew was always accommodating and helpful in any of the questions I had. My vehicle was ready with all accessories installed on the agreed upon pickup day. It was great dealing with Andrew and I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle through him.

Excellent Experience

Everything was done as per their quote and I was in and out of ther in no time! Received an oil change and checking all the filters and fluid levels.....no trying to up sell me on anything.

I had the best experience ever. I had never bought a new car before and my sales person rohid was amazing. Loved him. So though and kind I will definitely want him again as my salesman. Kudos to Megan Fitzgerald who was also amazing. You better keep them both. So happy and thankyou

Lease buyout

My last 2 Toyotas were leased from other dealerships but all servicing was done at Jacksons. When I tried to arrange to buy the lease out I was quoted $399 because I didn’t lease from Jacksons. That price was increased to $699 + $40 for carfax when the paperwork was ready to sign.

Jackson Toyota is an awesome place to get your toyota vehicle from,i visited some toyota car dealers before settling to do business with Jackson Toyota,they where customer friendly,they had lots of option of vehicle to choose from,Rohit was so nice,he kept me up to date on when my was arriving and on arrival he put me through on all the new features of my car. After browsing cars online and requesting a quote I was contacted by Andrea. I told Andrea that I am looking for a corolla hybrid premium package and would buy if the opportunity presented itself. I was upfront about all of the details and that I had heard the wait was 2-4 months. She did not dispute this. She booked an appointment for me, telling me to meet Matt Houtby or Anthony Casey. When I arrived I was told no one could meet with me. I was told by a person at reception that the wait for the car I want is TWELVE MONTHS and I'd be better off going to another dealership because I wouldn't even get what I wanted in the end. They have 30 orders for that car and only five people will get a 2022, the rest will be forced to buy the 2023 or not buy. I said ok, so I'll just buy a 2023 then? And he said I might as well go somewhere else! WHAT A JOKE. All of that information could have been shared over the phone instead of me driving almost an hour an a half round trip. Just an incredible waste of my time!

I purchased a new Highlander last month and was able to pick it up last week. All the add-ons I had ordered were installed and ready when I picked up the vehicle. Jeff was very informative and kept me up to date as I waited for my new car. Service was informative and professional.
