Service has always been fairly good, seems we get treated better now with our Cadillac then we did with a cobalt. But all and all have had a good experience here

Bought a car in September. By December I needed a muffler and it randomly won't start and locks out.

I went in to have multiple services done including a brake cleaning. I was told that the caliper on the left rear brakes were seized. $300 to replace plus the time they had already put into it. Then it turns out no, it's just a slider pin and they were able to rotate that out and clean the brakes. So I'm thinking this is a pile of lies topped with a cherry. I brought my car to a smaller Mechanic whom I trust. Turns out neither rear brakes were cleaned/ serviced at all. That cost me about $400 plus the work my smaller mechanic does to complete the job they didn't do. Completely dissatisfied and I totally would never trust them with anything other then an oil change again.

My engine light came on 4 days ago. I was working shift so couldn't get my truck in until Thursday. Of course when I was driving it over to the dealership the engine light had gone off.But they are able to see the history of the code.It was to do with low voltage to the ignition system. They had run into this before, a wire between the body and frame had corroded due to friction. Thankfully I had bought the extended warranty, it was all covered.While there I had some fluids flushed.The mechanic recommended I don't drive the truck until they fix the electrical problem, took them a bit longer than expected but it was all fixed.I've always had great service at Ontario Motor Sales.
