Best user or new car experience

After an enervating search amongst 6 dealerships in the north western Toronto for a small car for my son, we found a match on a Yaris at Haldimand Motors. It was an hour drive and the roads were snowy, so we called ahead and asked some questions, which were answered to our satisfaction. For a double check we searched reviews online and found that most reviews were very favourable. So we set off to Haldimand one snowy cold Saturday. When we got there we took a look around. The size of the sales lot was incredible... the lot was the size of a couple of football fields and full of a wide variety of cars. One stop shopping and "worth the drive"! There were no pushy sales guys or sales guys at all pestering us. There's actually a sign outside basically saying "if you need a sales guy just ask us and we'd be glad to help you". After initially checking out the car we were interested, we went into the office and asked to test drive. Once again we rx'd the keys and without any hassle at all they let us test drive the car. Everything wrt the car met to our satisfaction, it was the best deal we'd seen out of all the dealerships we went to. So we finished test driving and headed in to make a deal! Dan offered to help us, he was very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I would dare to say he was the most honest and direct sales guy I've ever met. There was no haggling as the price was fixed. So we signed everything up. The car needed new tires and couple of other very minor things, Dan had that taken care of without issue. There were a few hurdles like changing the ownership around. Dan took care of that without issue and charge. When the car was ready we came to pick it up, no last minute surprises, everything was immaculate inside, even though the car was a 2010 it looked and smelt new. We've had the car for weeks now, no issues, and are super happy that we made the right choice, the "Haldimand choice"!!

Very pleasant and efficient experience - the people were friendly and not at all like some used car salespeople. And the car is great as well.Would certainly recommend Haldimand to others.

They were very friendly and provided excellent service with regards to handling the sale and making sure the car was up to snuff before I got it. However, it took a week and a half of waiting for a part before the car was cleared, and they did not do a great job of keeping me of informed. I had to call to get any information on when it would be ready, and the information kept changing from day to day.

I had heard about Haldimand Motors from others and was not disappointed in the experience. They are clear and specific and delivered an excellent vehicle for the price. I googled the price across Canada and could not do better.

i would recomend haldemen motors to everyone . no problems at all . o except we were missing a wheel nut when we got home . other than , it was great . better have your boys in the shop do a better look over , next time

We were very satisfied with the selection of vehicles. Many to choose from. And made it very easy on new car owner! Test drove a few different cars and really got to decide what we liked. Chose the car we wanted and in less than 2 weeks we were driving our new car.

Not too great this time

this is my second car bought at Haldimand, I went back because of my first experience. this time communications was an issue, even I found a little bit rude the way I was treated in two occasions, one in person, the other one in the phone. regarding the product, I just started driving it, I compared the price with in the internet, and I think it was overpriced, nothing I could do , since I have already made the deal, it is my fault, did not do my home work well.

I was quite happy with service up until I purchased my vehicle. After I purchased my vehicle I was unable to even get a time or day when it would be ready for pick up. The vehicle was just waiting to be serviced and unfortunately no one could give me a direct answer on when I would be able to pick up my car. As a customer who paid for my vehicle I would expect you to be a little bit more apt to serve your customer. I was incredibly frustrated and felt that you put your customer on the back burner and there was nothing I could do about it. Unfortunately I probably would not recommend your company to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.
