Went on unhaggle to get best price on a VW Golf. I was instantly contacted via phone by Andrew. I told him to send me information by email and our communications continued that way. During our back and forth, he asked me what a local Mazda dealer wanted to offer me for my trade and I was honest with the deal I was presented with (bi-weekly cost with negative equity.) He then replies with a much higher bi-weekly payment than what I could get out of a Mazda (offered me much less for my trade, which is 100% fine), so I politely told him that I couldn't make a deal unless they at least matched my Mazda deal. Andrew then replied to my email in a condescending tone saying they were two much different cars, and continued to send me links to prove that the Golf was a better car (even though it was clear I just couldn`t afford it.) Long story short, he contacted me without asking, I told him I had a deal on the table and only wanted to make a deal with him if he could beat it, and he became butt hurt that I wasn`t happy with his deal. I have never stepped foot in this dealership and they have confirmed that I now never will.

Very disappointed with recent service from Bytek. My wife booked an appointment (to get snow tires put on) to coincide with our next oil change. Tires were replaced, but the technician told her that she didn't need the oil change, despite the fact that the 'service' indicator comes on when you start the car, and the date/mileage for next service is clearly indicated on the sticker on the windshield!! A week later (next available appt), back at Bytek - she's getting talked into a 'full inspection' at $320, when all she needs is that a oil change. Bad enough to have to make a second trip, but instead of being even slightly apologetic, Bytek is still trying to take advantage. brutal.

DISCLAIMER: I have only dealt with the Parts Department at Bytek, on four or five separate occasions. However, the Parts team at Bytek (Andy especially) never fail to exceed expectations. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on customer service. When they say they'll order a part for you and phone you when it arrives, you can count on them actually calling (doesn't sound like a big deal, but lack of follow-up on parts orders happens more frequently that one might think). Thanks again.

This is worst customer service I have experience in a long time. We were booked at a specific time to purchase a car, the representative asked us to wait few minutes as he was busy. We were withing. After 35 min, we had enough and told the front desk that we are leaving. After we arrived home, we received an email form him complaining that it wouldn't hurt us to wait 5 minutes!!! I said we waited 35 min, but he without ANY apology said that he was busy and we can come now. How rude!! We ended up buying our VW at Hunt Club Volkswagen with pleasure. To my disbelieve the guy from Bytek sent us an email few days later to book another app. I said that we purchased the car already. He responded rudely that we spent so much time with us and we are not nice people purchasing the car somewhere else.

They told me to replace my entire steering wheel assembly and wiper motor about 3 years ago. I declined the $2k+ repair bill. 3 years and 90k kms later .... everything still works fine. Thanks but no thanks!

I am pleased with the buying experience and the after-sales support i've had received from Bytek so far. Excellent professionals that greet you with smile and eager to help take care of issues stress-free. I especially thank Chris and Mike in sales & Greg and Rowad in service , Scott and Debbie in body shop. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!
