Warranty replacement of jounce bumpers on 2014 Cruze

Purchased 2014 Cruze in January 2015 and notice occasional sharp bumping sound when going over over bumps/pot holes. I asked if this could be checked when car in for unrelated warranty issue. Jounce bumper replacement under warranty was advised and appointment set as soon as parts came in. Brought car in at 1:00 pm and was called by service rep later in afternoon indicating that because alignment was also necessary car would have to be kept over night. Called early next morning - car was ready. Courteous and informative contact throughout. No indication of noise upon return of car.

Questioning

I'm Paul's wife, Carolyn. I was treated fine, but since our car has been having some oil consumption issues, I'm finding that my visits ( which should be recorded by my dealership), are coming with expectations that leave me wary. My last oil change, my settings were not changed. I received a polite return call when I noticed it within 5 minutes of driving away. It was more a standard apology citing of how busy they were, yet it was not. I would like to receive genuine treatment and would like to trust the care of the dealership where we have purchased many vehicles over the years....

The problem I brought forward was investigated and a resolution was found and repair made. The work was completed quickly. I have full confidence in th capability of the service department. Even though I live 130km from the dealership I still intend to have all my service work done at Murray

Rennie is knowledgeable about the needs of my vehicle and I trust him.

I first went to Murray Chevrolet for service and realized that Rennie as a younger person had lived on my street and also knew my daughter from school. That was in 2003. Through the years of service visits and extra needs (always running smoothly) we have chatted briefly about different things regarding to family. I even brought in my dog Joy so she could meet Rennie. My husband died in 2013 and offered condolences which I thought was special. Rennie cares about my vehicle and he is such a nice person. Rennie does the Murray dealership proud.
