Today I went to Roy Nichols for the first time. It was out of pure necessity because my vehicle had progressed to an undriveable state in just a few short days. I typically would have taken it to my regular GM dealer but there was no possible way I could have driven it there, and Roy Nichols was the closest shop to my home. My vehicle had developed a very loud banging and rattling sound, over bumps, on the right side with a looseness and shaking at highway speeds. It has 133,000km so I was sure it was going to need balljoints and bushings and linkages, most likely in the fronts and rears. I dropped it off at 9AM and before 1PM I received a call from the service woman who had taken my keys earlier. She said the technician gave it a look and a test drive and something that had been serviced before (not by them) had come out of adjustment and the technician put back to the way it was supposed to be and it was ready for me to pickup. I asked if they had noticed the noise in the rear? She said that she would ask the tech and would call me back. 30min. Later she called me back and said the Technician took it out again and all the noises were gone and I could come pick it up. THE TECH TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE, GAVE IT A LOOK OVER, FIXED THE ISSUE, TOOK IT FOR A SECOND, AND THIRD TEST DRIVE, AND THEY DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME FOR IT!!!!!! 🤯 Granted, I did pay for the initial diagnostic fee, which comparatively was very reasonable. The service woman was very helpful and nice. I used the shuttle service, the driver was very nice, the tech was thorough, the readjustment was free, even the cashier lady was friendly! I am 100% sure that any other shop would have abused this opportunity to replace old, but not worn out, parts unnecessarily. Including my regular GM dealer. Roy Nichols employees have integrity, nowadays that is priceless and nearly unheard-of. Kudos 👏 to the employees at Roy Nichols. I'm happily switching. QUALITY PEOPLE AND QUALITY SERVICE RIGHT HERE IN COURTICE. Thank you.

Brought an Impala in for certification. They found the brake cable had seized. A couple hundred bucks. It wasn't expensive and the job was fairly quick...couple days. Walked in, paid, walked out with the car.

Great Service. Dropped my truck off and had it diagnosed by the end if the day. A major repair was handled quickly and efficiently. Customer service were very friendly and answered a lot of questions I had when I picked up the Truck. 3 year or 60k warranty seems pretty good!
