From the purchase of my vehicle to repairs at GMC has been a wonderful experience. My service advisor for over 4 years, Laura Westlake takes the stress out of taking your car into the garage for repairs. Laura answers all of my questions in full detail and always gets me in right away. I completely trust the service being done. When I trade in my vehicle, I will insist Laura stays my service advisor!

Do not come here for service for your vehicles! I brought in my truck for a few issues. It turns out I need a new radiator and they need to keep it over night. They decided to move the truck outside which is fine. No one ever told me to remove any belongings and I also never signed any thing that day with any fine print stating any of this. They proceeded to call me the next day that the repair was complete, but that my truck was broken into over night in their lot. Not sure if it was left unlocked or what happened as I left the vehicle inside the shop when I left and keys with them. They also stated if there is any damage or any thing missing they are not liable at all and I would have to go through my own insurance. Ofcourse I’m still expected to pay the bill in full. Luckily nothing was taken, but lots of paper work rummaged through and damage to the window seal to break in and they could care less! Will never be coming to this terrible dealer again as they really do not seem to care about the customer at all.

DONT GO THERE SAVE YOUR MONEY! I went there to check a wheel noise on my terrain 2021.. They said I have to buy new set of tires for almost $ 1600 My tires are still in good shape. because I decide not to do it They charge me $160 to “diagnose” the problem which would be part of the car guarantee. They didn’t do any repair and they toke them almost 2 days to find out. Worst service experience. I would never bring my car here again. They just want to take your money no matter what

The GOOD: Initially told a 2hr wait for express-lane oil change at 7:30am even though I was 2nd in line but it only took 1hr to complete oil change, tire rotation and minimal point-inspection. Craig was very candid and forthright, even taking responsibility for his "ignorance" (his term) on some issues. He made me feel like I was dealing with an honest individual. No pretense of being a know-it-all...iow, he's human. I like that because I know my stuff when it comes to repairs and I think he is keen enough to discern that it's best to be honest with customers! Craig took initiative and replaced a missing valve stem cover at no charge. Craig gave me a heads-up re Zentec car wash. The total cost of the service reasonable: $137 for oil change, tire rotation, inspection. Service counter was capable, matter-of-fact but not overly engaging. That's fine :) The service waiting area is very accommodating. The BAD: I may need brake pads all around next visit but I was told even if I book an appointment for a certain time, there is no guarantee what time the vehicle will be ready same day (not reassuring cause if I bring the vehicle in at 7am I should think it would be ready for 12pm when I need to leave for work). Tire sensors were determined faulty but while the tires were being rotated I was not informed of the sensors issue - it would have made sense to tell the customer about the issue as the vehicle was in a repair ready state if customer wished to proceed with new tire sensors. Lack of communication here from service tech to service adviser . As a result, I must book an appt on another day which will take a min of 2hrs to address the sensors. Vehicle is 2018 with 50k on it - sensors were faulty from the start but no warranty or reasoning as to why they are faulty. Also, I was not given an approx estimate $$ to replace them. My wheel lock tool was not in my vehicle when the car service was completed. Good thing I was paying attention. Craig went and retrieved it. When my car was ready I heard the reception area call out my first name - no repeat - and I sat there 10 more minutes before I inquired about my car, to learn it was ready. Usually the service advisor will come and inform you or they will send you a text. Neither was the case. The UGLY: I am the ugly this time - I failed to get the name of the female I spoke to the day before bringing my vehicle in (perhaps Cassandra). She alerted me that no appt was needed for an oil change, discussed the best times to come in and was most pleasant. Highly professional, friendly telephone etiquette. Food for thought: NewRoads Chevrolet will text you a video link when they service your vehicle with the tech walking you through your vehicle's condition. Great feature and Georgian should put this on their to-do list! Also places like NewRoads (Newmarket), Gateway Chev (Brampton) et al wash your vehicle in-house. UPDATE: Received an appreciative and complimentary text from the Service Mgr (Sarah) the day after. Nice touch! Overall: Craig 4**** Service: 3.5*** Serv. Counter: 3.5*** Sarah: 5***** Customer Service by Phone: 5***** Part 2: (08/04) Brought my other vehicle in - and they acknowledged reading my earlier review. They were appreciative. Craig Sinclair was exceptional this day - totally on his game! Without prompting he followed up on the tire sensors issue mentioned in an earlier review, showed me the condition of my cabin filter, reported on a few unknown concerns and answered my rather probing questions in a forthright manner. I like his approach. Oil change/cabin filter and pts inspection for under $150. Props to the parts counter gents for pricing new tires, air filter housing and tire sensors. They were quite busy but they followed up with me in a timely manner, with smiles and gratitude all around. I was in and out in under 75 minutes. Bravo to all!

So i took my 2022 highcountry 1500 in for service the exhaust was rattling the service tech mike said he had seen it many times so they would replace it .. i asked when i brought it in the day of service to be present for the road test . They called when it was done and said they had fixed it when i picked it up same rattle so i called back to mike he said ok the only option was to book it in again for 2 weeks later when i showed up they said they wont do the work i m to hard to please because i had requested to be present for the final road test. I had to take a tech on a road test to prove the issue not sure why you cant go with them after? After the service manager sarah denied all . Think twice before getting involved here
