Over charged hours and pushy service people who are not respectful

Horrible experience, service rep was pushy and wanting me to get extra service I didn’t need. Had my rear diff serviced 20k before and they wanted me to service again. Staff are not knowledgeable at all and mechanics add hours and round up. 0.8 hours service is 1.0 which adds up if you need service.

Contacted SMP to repair a simple stripped fill plug, Audrey funk from the service department said id need to replace the whole case itself. I contacted her explaining how it could be done. I have not received any sort of costumer care or service and feels as if they are blowing me off. This was my first and last experience at SMP.

Hello Jade, there are a couple of reasons we do not make non-standard repairs. First, patching often fails, and leads to customer dissatisfaction in the long run. It is really in your best interest to have a repair done correctly. Second, our OEM warranty is one year, parts and labour. Our technicians are factory trained, and their formal education is always ongoing. They are trained to do correct and long-lasting repairs, and we stand behind those repairs with a very robust warranty. "Work arounds" are generally not completed at dealerships because often the "fix" is only temporary, and it cannot be warrantied. I am glad that your Service Advisor was able to provide a speedy response, and I encourage you to have a proper repair completed. A couple of days ago, my hubby and I purchased our first vehicle(Jeep compass 2014) in saskatoon at SMP! We are very happy about our car! Our dealer, Mark Sugar, he was really helpful, professional, kind and friendly!!! He's awesome!! And Rob in the financing service went the extra mile to make our financing really easy. Thanks a lot, guys! We highly recommand SMP!!!!
