Mark was very helpful and mr olsen was very quick to get a loan approved but ive noticed on my truck some paint chips that were covered poorly and black paint all over my rear red bumper and the truck is hard to start at -7 and wobbles pretty bad at 110 kms.

Worst place to go for a truck go to sherwood instead nobody knows anything about trucks here and i didnt get the colour i want or the engine and was pressured to sign papers and half way threw he tells me that its a lease....... dont deal with the financial manager logan total scab

I feel like I was constantly being overcharged by SMP. The last time I went there, I got a diagnosis for my oil leak (costing me $80), and they then told me it was going to be $745 of labour for a $30 part. They said it would take 4-5 hours to replace, causing the cost to be so high. I called around to other shops, and all of them told me the time to replace this part should take less than 2 hours. I ended up getting this part replaced at a different shop, and it took them 1.5 hours and costed me $189. I am very done being overcharged by SMP.

Hello Chantal, I am glad we had an opportunity to speak on the phone. Once again, I vehemently apologize for the miscommunication. As I mentioned on the phone, an investigation into the misquote revealed that there is a discrepancy in the labour time guides, Mitchell vs GM Service Information. The part required to complete your repair was correct, but the time guide we referenced indicated other components needed to be removed in order to access the failed sensor. Additional tear-down is not required, and we would likely have noticed once repairs were started. Nonetheless, we regret the error. Generally, the labour time guides are in agreement, and this mistake was a rare event that due diligence will prevent in the future. Thank you for accepting our offer of a service at no-charge.
