I went to this dealership for the first time in Sept 2024 to get my recently purchased used vehicle's rear defrost button fixed. When Ahmed, the front desk service representative, was setting up my account, I gave him my driver's license to copy down my address since people made mistakes in the past. The rep felt it appropriate to comment on my age which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He then pushed me to get a $100 oil change which I declined twice. He asked what else was wrong with the car and I mentioned having them look at my breaks and to report anything to me before working on it. I had just had my vehicle safetied by my trusted mechanic a month prior so it should be fine. When the sales rep called me hours later to update me on the service technician's findings, he started by telling me my bill was $900 and quickly ran through all the issues. I suddenly needed new break pads, calipers, spark plugs, new rotors, break fluid, new engine air filter, new cabin air filter, and 2 hours of break servicing. When I asked for an itemized list, it was still not clear what the costs were and the total. I asked specifically about the cabin filter and told him that I knew for a fact that it did not need to be replaced because I had personally changed it myself 12 days prior, to which the rep replied "well my guy said both cabin and engine air filters were full and needed to be replaced". So, if I know knew that wasn't true, it cautioned me to inquire more about all the rest of the proposed service required. When he got to the rear defrost, they told me the service tech couldn't complete the diagnostic and wanted another hour to try to figure out what it was. When I asked what the tech had tried already, the sales rep couldn't report back to me what the tech actually did other than check for if mice had chewed through the wires. I asked if he checked the fuses first, too, and he couldn't tell me but would go ask the tech right now. He then hung up on me instead of putting me on hold. I waited 25 minutes for a call back before calling again to get an update. I spoke with the same rep and declined the additional hour of work since evidence that it was necessary was not provided. He then informed me they decided to order a new switch for the defrost, and I would have to come back to get it installed. I had to specifically request the complimentary Uber ride back to the dealership because it wasn't offered out right on the phone this time, and I was already told I would get one for drop off and pickup upon booking. When I arrived, my sales rep was nowhere to be found, so another rep pulled me aside and went through my invoice with me. They had left the engine and cabin air filters needing to be replaced on the invoice. I had to repeat that I had just changed the cabin filter myself. This new rep then said, "Well, I don't know why they would say it needed to be replaced if it didn't". The original sales rep appeared and he and I walked out to my car, I pulled out the filter and showed the rep the brand new filter. He got flustered and told me to ask for Scott the Service Manager when I go back inside. Scott met with me at the desk, was very polite when asking me questions about my service and bill, and apologized for the very obviously incorrect invoice though the tech "may have been talking about the engine air filter". He then inspected the other filter, which was also in fine condition and did not need to be replaced. Not once did I yell or cause a scene, and I gave them multiple opportunities to change the invoice before I saw it. I will be now requesting photo evidence of all the work done on my vehicle. Immediately after this visit, I brought my vehicle to my trusted mechanic where he informed me nothing was wrong with the car, and to watch out for specific symptoms if the calipers were acting up and needing to be replaced. I also tried to call back for a follow up on the ordered part and have still not gotta a hold of them or a call back in over a month. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I purchased a used car in March from Bank Street Hyundai. When I received the car, I was told it was going to be cleaned but when I received it, they said their machine was broken and they were going to clean it when they got the machine fixed. Eventually they contacted me, and I brought it in to be cleaned but when I got it back it looked the same, I had to clean it myself to get the stains out from its previous owner. When I bought the car, I was told it came with winter tires, I was not expecting new tires, but I expected tires I could use. I went to get my tires changed and they said my tires were over 10 years old and worn out, the car is 2018 it’s not even 10 years old and they were not even the right size. When I called Louis Boueri he said “well toss them, why are you calling me, we are not going to get you new tires” I understand it is a used car but why would they give me tires I cannot even use, why not just throw them out and say the car does not come with winter tires, I can get my own winter tires but why give me garbage. I then had to pay $700 to get it fixed and I understand it is a used car, but I was told it was fine and there was nothing wrong with it. When I bought it, my mechanic said this was a previous issue they had just not told me about.
