The WORST bunch of sly salesmen. Never believe the classic one liner "I'm giving you the best deal", when you walk into this dealer take a hidden audio recording device. These guys bend and twist their words and deny it afterwards. I went to purchase a vehicle, but received a better deal from their competitor. I asked if they can match it and they said NO. So Naturally I request to cancel the deal (at this point I only had a $500 deposit) BIG MISTAKE!. The Sales Manager Amir Esmailian calls me the same day and tells me that I am getting a good deal, don't cancel, and that the other dealership is screwing around with us and that we should not believe them. Well, to top it off, their finance manager Tony Campagna tells me that if I cancel the deal I will not be able to get financing for any Hyundai in Canada. Tony also failed to tell me that the 4.99% rate is not fixed but variable, So, Now I sent my fiance to get my deposit back and the sales manager says, NO, because apparently we spent 2 hours with his sales guys! (this is why you need a voice recorder). Since when do you pay $500 deposit for time spent on consultation. Their motto says "NOBODY DEALS LIKE US" and that's almost accurate, but it's more like "NOBODY STEALS LIKE US"! STAY AWAY!!!! Better off getting a HONDA! That's what I did.

The sales manager of Hyundai (bank street, Ottawa), Amir Esmaili, fooled and deceived me and pushed me to sign the contract for a car which I did not really want, by convincing me that he is giving the car 6 thousand $ off the real price (because we are country-mates , and we had a close common friend), and he told me that I can not find any other dealership who gives me this discount. While just the next day I got an online quote from the Hyundai website, and realized he has given a little discount on the rebate value while all other Hyundai dealerships Ontario wide were selling that model with the exact same amount!!! It was an offer given online! So there was actually no 6000$ discount off the price!! ..... I feel so stupid that I didn't get the online quote or visit a couple of more dealerships before signing the contract. He was also dishonest about all features of the car and benefits of purchasing car from his dealership. and after the contract was signed he left me with no help and support !!! when I called him and discussed this issue with him , he started insulting me really badly despite of all respects I had for him. He was so rude, so aggressive and insultive. He made fun of me and also said that he had lied to me about every thing and told me I can go to hell and do whatever I want!!! He also hanged the phone on me!!!! I called our common friend to tell him the story, but after he heard about it, he hanged on me too, and never answered my call again!!! I simply broke up with this jerk (who suggested this place and took me with him to the dealership). He was pushing me to sign the contract too, and I am sure he benefited from this deal in some way. My main mistake was trusting this common friend of us..... I am totally disappointed and unsatisfied with the dealership and as my first experience with Hyundai this really made me regret dealing with Hyundai.... I was about to hire a lawyer and make a complaint against him and also the dealership. I am TOTALY unhappy with the deal and the dealership. I can not put my dissatisfaction and regrets in words !!!! After a year having the car (ELantra) the car also really sucks ... Do NOT go for Hyundai, and NEVER ever go to the Bank Street dealership. This place is being run by a bunch of uneducated Middle Easterns. (I am from middle east too, but unlike these people, I do respect human values). JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Never again! This dealership represents everything I despise about car dealerships. I calculated on the website what should I be getting for particular model, and wanted to trade in a car. I investigated what I could get if I sell the car and then subtracted $2000 (knowing that dealerships give less). At the beginning the trade in value was reduced by $7000 for a 2 year old car. Then typical pressure "If we give you this price, sign here that you will buy a car". Never do this. Vehicle was close to $40,000 and I don't want to make impulse decisions. After I refused to sign, the guy told me that I'm wasting his time and didn't even say good bye, just turned and left. I will tell all my friends and family not to go there.
