Staff are accomodating and respecting in dealing with customers. Even though I am late they still provide a shuttlservice for me

We were getting our new touring 2017 CRV's Protection Plus package done. Initially, it was challenging to arrange this. Couldn't do this online and apparently needed to know our salesman's name in order to make it happen. Who knew? Inexplicably, the receptionist seemed annoyed we didn't know this name. Finally, after three attempts, we secured our appointment. Our Salesman, Thomas, promised to arrange, in advance, a rental for us as I had to work and needed a vehicle. We arrived at our appointment at the give time, 9:00 AM. Was helped by a marvellous fellow in the service department who told me where to leave the vehicle, found my salesman, and informed me of the process that my car was going to be put through. I was kindle pointed in the direction of the car rental place. Super start! I walked to the rental place, waited in line, only to discover no rental under my name or the salesman's name. In fact, there were no rentals to be had. Walked back to the dealership. Waited for Thomas. Finally, he and I walked back over to the rental place. Thomas tried to arrange a rental and failed to do so. Back to the dealership. More waiting. Finally, an offer to be shuttled home. A very disappointing state of affairs. That said. The service portion, the work done on the vehicle was great, exemplary even. Salesman's handling of the situation? Not great. End of day I was promised the vehicle at 5:00 or rather a pick up at 5. Hearing nothing, I called. I was told there were delays due to drying times. All good, but it would have been nice to know this. Honda did offer to drop our vehicle off at our house which was a nice touch. Our vehicle finally was returned to us at close to 8:00 PM.
