The "stated policy" in the garage that Winnipeg Honda treats all visitors like honoured guests should be replaced with instructions that patrons remain waiting with their vehicles until the clearly overworked staff have time to address their needs. The salesmen I spoke with were honest, courteous, and essentially redeemed the business' obviously poor management.

ve had problems with my 2013 Honda CRV since I bought it from The Dilawri Groups' Winnipeg Honda at 1717 Waverley Street. There is in almost no air flow coming from the top vents when the car is set to blow air from the top and bottom vents at the same time.  When I told the technician that my 1999 Toyota Tercel had better air flow than this he told me "the Tercel had the best airflow of any car out there" and that almost no air coming out of the top vents was "normal".  It was not fixed because I was told there was "nothing wrong with it". The second winter I had the car it stopped producing adequate heat.   Even with it plugged in and warmed up for 20 minutes in the driveway, it still took 40 to 50 minute to produce adequate heat.  I took it to Honda where they insisted there was nothing wrong with it and the technician told me this gem: "The Honda CRV really wasn't meant for this climate".  (Thank you for telling me that after I commit tens of thousands of dollars to the first car I buy that isn't used.) They never fixed the problem and told me that they couldn't find anything wrong with my car. Besides this and having the back up camera replaced twice, both my heated side-view mirrors stopped working at the exact ame time.  Long story short, I found out that the service team never bothered to find out why the mirrors both stopped functioning at the same time, but they had no problem telling me that if I wanted it fixed it would cost several hundred dollars because it wasn't covered by the warranty.   The sales manager told me when I bought their $1000 additional warranty that "everything" was covered on the car for five years. Of course I found out later that according to the fine print on the warranty, the mirrors were not covered.   I asked Honda if both of them going at the exact same time could be an electrical issue and like I said before, they didn't bother to find out the cause of the failure so they said I would have to pay them for new ones if I wanted working heated mirrors.  Long story short, Honda Canada customer service said they'd replace them at no cost.  Great. Two different people told me two separate times over the last several weeks that the parts were in and to make an appointment and come and get the mirrors replaced. Both times I went down there really early on a Saturday morning and left my car there only to be told later to come get my car because they didn't actually have the part. Today I went there again.  For the third time.   I was told by a service manager that the parts were in and that it was going to be done for sure.   I go down there shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday morning of the May long weekend to drop my car off at the time I made an appointment for.   The technician starts lecturing me saying to me with a heavy sigh, "I don't know if today was the beat day to get your car done."  I told him that this was the third time I had come in and that I expected the mirrors to be replaced today like I was promised.   I asked the technician if it was going to be done today or if I was going to get a call later in the day saying that they didn't have time to do it.   The man looked me straight in the eye and assured me it would be done today. I asked the receptionist to speak with a manager and was told that because of the long weekend that no management would be in today and the sales staff was all gone too. I get a call around 1:45 p.m. telling me I could come and pick up the car, but they didn't have the part, so they didn't replace the
