Be On Alert for Unnecessary Work

If you have a lease with Jackson Toyota and it is coming do in the next 12 months be aware that there service department is being aggressive with unnecessary work that is not required as part of the Toyota maintenance schedule. This has happened to us and my mother in-law who had $1400 of work for a Matrix with 40K on it. The brakes required fixing but the other $600 was taking advantage of an unknowledgeable older women on a fixed income. They use high pressure tactics like I need to know now. There are other customers lined up. This is new to Jackson Toyota. I have been dealing with them for the past 8 years without issues until recently.

In communication with Rob today we clarified the necessity of the brake repairs, the recommended service and the costs associated with them. Rob understands it is necessary to maintain the vehicles but was bothered by the fact that the lease end was coming up and that it was a significant amount of money to have to spend on the cars. We are not trying to take advantage of anyone. We have built our reputation on honest reliable service for our guests. It is our job to keep customers informed of the recommended servicing of their vehicles.

The experience was surprising

I was apprehensive about going to Jackson Toyota as I had my heart set on a Subaru, however upon arrival, the process was relatively seemless. Everything was organized and I didn't wait around waiting to be helped/assisted. My hope is that the customer service I received that day is echoed when I need to bring in my vehicle for regular maintenance.

Great service, was respected and all concerns and wants were addressed and met. Buying the car was a breeze no hassle or pushy ness. The shop also fixed my roters that were warped, under warranty with out question. Jackson Toyota has a high level of professionalism, great staff and always welcoming. I would always recommend this dealership.

When purchasing again I would go back. Noel was very detailed oriented when going thru the features of the vechicle, I never felt pressured into a deal it just came about naturally.

First oil change

I came in for my "Free Oil Change" and was 3rd in line, outside the door. Your customer rep came outside and told me that it would be approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes before they could get to my vehicle, due to staff shortages. Now I could have turned around and gone to Mr. Lube but since I'm retired and had the time I decided to wait. The gentleman who came outside was 5 minutes later than he said but once in the service was done well. Thanks (This doesn't mean that I'm willing to let your firm use my time like that in the future) Gary Janicki
