happy it was done in 1 day with no mess

The sales representative, Glen was very knowledgeable about the product, and provided me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Due to a cancellation, Bath Fitters called me earlier than expected with an installation date of the next day. The installer arrived in the morning as expected and worked for 8 hours by himself to install the tub and surround. I thought it could have gone much faster if there had been 2 people doing the work, but the installer said he preferred working alone due to the small size of bathrooms. This way he can focus on his job, take his time and do it correctly. He did a beautiful job and the bathroom looks just the way I had hoped it would. PROS: It's beautiful ........It took one day........It was the last room in my house to be renovated and it feels great to have it done CONS: It was boring to be in the house with an installer when I'm used to being on the go every morning doing my errands. I already shared the pictures on Face book. We are very pleased and we hardly knew Chris was there. Everything was spotless and sparkling when he left . There was no inconvenience to us at all.

We had Bathfitter install tubs in two apartments. With an hour of measurement, and an allowance for two weeks of manufacture, once made and shipped, both fitted tubs were installed within a day. This was impressive, especially because one installation beautifully covered an unusual (and rare) 3/4 sized tub. The Bathfitter tubs are surprisingly strong, and have remained leak free, which was one of our major initial concerns with these fabricated tub inserts.

Functional and clean looking but pricey

The options were good but went with the basics due to the price. Went with Bath Fitters because of the product but after seeing the installation process and finished product could have save a thousand or so doing it myself. Sales rep was nice and friendly and service rep was quick and clean. I would give a better rating if it was cheaper. Breakdown as I see it: Even if the service rep was paid $100 /hr.(generous) it took 8 hours to install which is $800 which leaves me about $3500 for the fixtures, supplies and shower. Decent shower kit cost $1200-1700 and I mean decent. Then fixtures lets say again $300-500 so that leaves me with $1300 I could have saved doing it myself in a day. All in all it was a pleasant experience and probably would recommend if you are not the handy type.
