I currently have a vehicle under lease with Honda that I got from another location. My lease is coming up and I’m looking to buy the vehicle without having to go back to the original dealer. I have dealt with Henley Honda for oil changes and regular maintenance in the past, but have been nothing but disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) that I’ve received regarding the lease. In the past two weeks I’ve had the following series of disappointing interactions: Call #1 - voicemail left for Finance Manager that was not returned Call #2 - told I could have the vehicle safetied elsewhere then just go in to Henley to have the vehicle signed over Call #3 - called to confirm I could have the vehicle safetied elsewhere and was told I would be charged a $295 admin fee. When I asked about bringing a cheque to buy the car, I was told to call back once a safety was booked. Call #4 - called to get exact price of buyout now that safety was booked and was told I would need to call back with the VIN number. Call # 5 - called back with the VIN number and was told that finance information could not be given over the phone. I was told I would need to book one appointment to go in and “discuss my options” (i.e. try to sell me another vehicle) then a second appointment to come in with a bank draft to buy the vehicle. I was then told the administrarive fees could be $295 or $386, depending on the lease... I asked what the price would be for my lease and was told “you’ll have to talk to a finance manager”. I expressed frustration at the inconsistent information and for being directed to people who couldn’t answer my questions, so they offered to take down my information and have the right person call me back. It has now been 5 days and I’m still waiting for that call. 5 phone calls and 2 unreturned messages later, I’m more than a little frustrated at the run around I’ve received from Henley. I realize it’s not a new car purchase and the lack of profit likely minimizes the priority, but it is unacceptable to treat customers who are literally looking to give you money in this way. I will now be driving out of St. Catharines to deal with another Honda dealership that clearly values my business more than Henley. It’s been a true disappointment.

2nd time leasing from Henley Honda....experience just as good this time. Erin Sammy was great at walking me through the process and getting me a vehicle that meets my needs. Love my new CRV! Thanks also to Sandra in the Finance Department. It was great dealing with her as well. I highly recommend Henley Honda!

3rd time is a charm when dealing with Henley Honda. Just leased my third vehicle with the assistance of Erin Sammy. Erin has been awesome to deal with since the first time I met him. Covid made the process a little different this time but still done with total professionalism by Erin and also by Todd Wong in the business department. I highly recommend Henley Honda!
