So bad it doesn't even deserve a single star in terms of rating. I am absolutely outraged with the terrible service I endured here. Here's the story: I had a recall on my vehicle and brought it in to be fixed at Bytek, I had also paid around $140 for them to "check out" what other issues I had such as the leak I had noticed. They performed the recalls and also gave me a quote of almost $2000 for some repairs which my car apparently needed according to them..I took this recommendation to my mechanic to make his job of repairing the leak easier (so he could know where it was without opening up the engine) and he was shocked at the quote they gave me..They said my timing belt needed to be fixed among other things, funny thing is my car DOESN'T even have a timing belt, it has a timing chain and it did not need to be replaced. Just about everything they had written was false and it lead me to believe that they were just out for my money. Despite even telling them that I had an idea of what was wrong, they still decided to play me for a fool and give misleading information. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I paid in cash for the check up and they shorted me almost 5$ in change because they didn't have it? very professional I must say. Maybe they're angry that they had to do a recall..even though that's part of the job. Anyways, long story short..This place is horrible, will never bring my car here again if I happen to have a recall or whatever. It just sucks for people because they are the only "certified" VW in the area. I don't need a reply offering me anything or saying hopefully the problem is now resolved. Fix your customer service and hire some HONEST staff who aren't out trying to rob actual VW customers. You might think it's good money but it's very bad business and makes Volkswagen look bad. Great car buying experience, all down hill from there. Bytek can't return a phone call. I have left probably 20 voicemails and received one call back. My car was used and sold to me with a known key fob communication error. How do I know this? I found the service receipts in the glove box. It took months to get an appointment to get the issue checked. The solution was to replace the fob batteries. Within 4 hours of replacing the batteries, both FOBs had the same communication error. It took two weeks to make another appointment, by which time the there was no error in the car computer anymore. Now they want to replace the car antenna. I'm dumbfounded by this as diagnosis of the problem. The car starts all the time, but errors out shortly after. How is that an antenna problem? So now I can't make an appointment to get the antenna replaced. Going on 5 voicemails and one email. The ratings for this dealer must be fake. There's no way they can have a rating over two stars. Run, don't walk away from this dealer.

Took 6.5 weeks to get the car repaired after a fender-bender collision. Scott Montgomery walked away when my mother asked about the brand / name of the tires they were going to replace. The only decent fellow at this dealership is Domique, who finally got the car fixed and ready in a professional manner. I suppose if the corporation whose products you sell (VW) consists of criminals (Diesel emission cheating) and lack ethics (subjecting monkeys to the fumes of a cheating rigged VW to prove VW dirty diesels are better than a Ford diesel), you cannot be expect their dealers to behave with much integrity. The worst car I owned was a new VW Golf, which I leased from this dealer in 2004 - even then they cheated me out of the lease milage by giving me less kilometres that I paid for. I suppose the standard dealership response is "please call us to discuss" - yes, right. How about being honest, courteous, and offering good service, so I don't have to write this? update: "long-term issue, and employees have not been at Bytek VW for a while" - complete nonsense. This report is from 2016. There is no indication that people who are working there today any better. That rude, unhelpful Andrew Crowe, who has been there for ages, is a good example.
