Purchase experience with Haldimand

I drove a very long way as Haldimand had a car I was interested in for a very good price. I was very glad I made the decision to take the journey. Four days later I picked up the car. The car was a quality vehicle, I negotiated over the phone- their no notice, one price strategy made things simple. Post purchase, I notice a stone chip on the passenger side windshield. Haldimand upon review, honoured their 30 day warranty and paid for the repair. Professional, easy to do business with, great car and great experience. I will be back many, many times- fantastic experience.

They didn't pressure us to look at anything. The only thing would be a car we wanted to try out had a dead battery. They didn't offer to jump start to allow us to try out. In the end we love the car we purchased.

I traded in my 2014 F150 on a 2013 Passat TDI diesel car. I called the night before asking if they still had the vehicle. Rob told me that yes they did and asked would I like it reserved so it couldn't be sold until I had a look at it. I expected them to require a deposit but nope..... and sure enough I went there the next day and my name was on the keys with a hold note! That was the start of my great experience. He then asked for my drivers licence (for a photocopy), passed me a dealer plate/keys and said here ya go. I loved it! No pushy sales man around me. All the time in the world to look over the car, test drive it and check out other vehicles on the lot. It was such a great way to buy a vehicle! While I was out with the car they spent some time appraising my truck. I went back after to inquire about the trade in value and I couldn't believe it. $7,000 MORE then Grimsby Ford was going to give me on trade-in. I actually asked twice to make sure they looked at the right truck! Lol. I couldn't have sold it privately for what they gave me on trade in!! After discussing the cost and financing, I told Rob that I would need to speak with my wife before committing to the sale. He said "Absolutely, no problem" with no pushy tactics at all! He even said that he would hold the vehicle until I was able to discuss with her. NO DEPOSIT! :-) I buy a ton of cars... (boredom I guess...lol) but I don't think I will ever shop anywhere else again! Haldimand Motors is where I'll be going for every purchase. Their prices are extremely competitive. Even compared to private sales on Kijiji. They truly don't mess around. Polite, non-pushy, friendly, easy and fast service! It's worth the drive. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I needed a car and looked online at Haldimand, having bought from them before. Found a car I immediately wanted and called to ask about it. It was on a test drive! Called the next morning and had them "put my name on it." Went in to test-drive it that evening and signed up to buy it. A few days later they called, car was ready, I went in to pick it up, and drove away 20mins later...!

Buying a new used truck was easy

Had a good experience shopping and buying at haldimand motors.. my only issues was the LR tail light lense has a crack in it allowing water in. This should of been cought and replaced at the time of safety inspection. Also the repair made on the rear bumper is not proper, the glue did not hold and is already coming back apart... however I have an appointment to have these repairs done on Monday and from what I understand they are going to take care of them for me.. if so I'm very satisfied and will be purchasing another car through haldimand motors down the road
