I was looking for a new SUV which was going to be my “for a long time” vehicle. This is the first time I’ve been able to get a car with all the things I wanted so I wanted to make sure I got it right. When I went to the Honda, Nissan, and even the other Jeep dealer in town I was extremely frustrated that all the sales guys asked me what I wanted (and seemed bothered by the fact that I didn’t even know what was offered) and either tried to sell me a vehicle that was well outside of what I expressed what I didn’t want or just simply gave me a mid grade price without even showing me the models they were talking about. Then I met Jon. I went to see him at 3pm - when I expressed to him my lack of what was available he just started asking me questions. He showed me a couple of models and encouraged me to test drive 3 even though I focused on the features rather than the feel of the drive and was anxious to get pricing and leave. I left at 6:30pm Jon’s incredible patience and commitment to ensuring I got the right vehicle for me really set him apart from every other sales person I dealt with. Each different vehicle at each different dealer had features I liked but my decision to get my Jeep Cherokee was based not only on the SUV itself but on the outstanding experience I had with Jon. I never once felt like I was “just a sale” and really felt like Jon cared more that I got the right vehicle than anything else.
