Today Sept. 25, 2019 I had my first service done on my Cadillac. As always Steve McTavish my Service Adviser was very helpful and friendly. A special thank you to MIchael Rankin parts manager and his staff in helping me with my snow tires purchase. I've dealt with Ontario Motor Sales for a few years and never have I been disappointed.

I had a terrible scraping/grinding noise that was driving me crazy. It was hard to describe as sometimes you have to drive for a few minutes until it happens. Steve from service took my 2014 Kia for a drive and although he only heard a slight sound we decided on a brake inspection. Upon inspection the mechanic decided the option to remove the back brakes and remove rust was the best plan of action. I decided to shuttle home for a few hours and let them work their magic. I called for a shuttle back just before closing and picked up my car. Steve was busy so asked Dave to break down the report for me. My car sounds great. I have been going to OMS for years and from the shuttle drivers, to the guys in service to the gals in the accounting office I always receive great service and friendly conversation. You even learn which of the service guys has regular pedicures.

Very disappointed in Ontario Motor Sales. I purchased 2 new vehicles within a 10 month period, both vehicles were delivered to me damaged. In good faith I took delivery of the vehicles based on the proper repairs being completed, the 2018 Traverse was delivered with paint and bumper damage to the rear quarter panel. After 3 trips and almost a year we gave up on having the proper repairs completed because each time we picked up the vehicle the new bumper was covered in scratches, the manager told us "In all reality it was the best we would get" The Cadillac was delivered with paint damage to the hood and rim. After calls and emails to the GM went with out a response I emailed the owner Tony Wilson, he responded and said he was away but would look into this upon his return. I have never heard a word from Ontario Motor Sales. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from Ontario Motor Sales, the sales staff was great when buying the vehicle but gave me the impression they could care less after you walked out the door. I recommend going elsewhere to buy GM.

I went to the dealership April 25, 2019 to talk to them about damage that was done to my car either February 1 or 4th. I made an appointment to have my oil changed for February 1st. My car sat there all day and when I came to get it at the end of the day they said they were not able to do anything and I would have to come back in on the Monday February 4th as they could not get the oil drain plug out. Not sure why I had to be without my car for the full day when they knew they couldn't do anything. Something seemed suspicious then. I brought the car back in on February 4th to have the oil changed. Neither time did they wash my car as it was too cold out to do so. I had the oil change done again on April 15th. At that time I showed one of the service advisors the damage that was caused by the shop lift on either February 1st or 4th. I was asked to come back in April 25th to discuss the damages done to my car. They took it and put it up on the Hoist again and decided that it was not caused by the Hoist. Someone told me it is already started to rust. I told them it happened February 1st or February 4th. Of course there's going to be rust developed on there now. The fellow said that it was probably damaged by a chunk of ice. What a ridiculous statement that is. The damage is done on both rocker panels not just one , and its in the same area that a hoist would lift the car. OMS is the only one that does service to my car. And the only one that would have used a hoist to do any oil change. I thought I would give the dealership a chance to fix a wrong but as I suspected they deny any wrongdoing. The dealership said today that they would give me an estimate from their body shop and maybe cut me a break. I should not have to pay anything for this repair. BTW, I had just spent $1800 at this dealership a couple weeks prior. They have made alot of money off me and they can't do the right thing? Don't service your vehicle here.
