Can’t say enough good things about this dealership. Everyone has always been so friendly and helpful. They always pick and drop off my vehicle up for me because it’s difficult for us to get it there with two small children. Service department is excellent and special thanks to Ken!! Highly recommend Lindsay Buick GMC

TL;DR Went in with a known problem. While they performed the requested service fine enough, their dishonest service rep insulting my intelligence and attempting to scam me into unnecessary work ensured I wont be taking my business there again. Background: Earlier this year I rotated my tires and took my 2018 buick in for an oil change. I asked that they resync my tire monitor system. They dumped the sync on one of the monitors and told me I needed a new one. I took my car to a tire shop, they reset the monitor, no new one required. When I bought my car the crooks at the dealership in AZ rushed the service inspection. I had a problem I could not identify immediately. It was intermittent, did not present issues, but every now and then on start up my light would come on. I would watch for a few days, check the code, (emissions or evap) then reset the computer and start it over. It took about 9000 miles in 10 months before the problem presented symptoms I could diagnose. It was a tight growth curve from 'what tf is wrong' to 'my car is dying at lights'. My PCV valve was getting stuck open. At just over 80K miles at this point, it wasn't a surprise, in line with regular service interval for that part. I walk in to the service department and get set up with Shannon. I ask to schedule an appointment for my routine oil change a little early, as well as the required PCV valve and my (likely fouled) spark plugs. Instantly my intelligence is insulted. The first words out of the service techs mouth are 'why do you want that done? how do you know that's the problem? Have you had it diagnosed?' in tone and body language suggesting i couldn't possibly have a clue what I was talking about.... like she was talking to an idiot. I brushed the insult away and insisted she write up the quote for the service I requested. Parts department was closed so she couldn't price the job, she said she would call the next day so we could finalize booking. A week later I have heard nothing, so I call to finish booking. The quote was already written up, I just wasn't called. I take my car in Wed night for a Thursday appointment. Side note; we have this stuff in Canada called Snow. Its been falling for two weeks. It has some cool properties.... fluid is wicked through the crystalline ice structure, so besides the warm liquid melting the snow at point of impact the area around the melted point is yellow when the dog pees....... but under the vehicles was pretty and white, undisturbed for weeks. Not a single red drop.... So Thursday comes around and I receive a voice mail. Shannon was calling to let me know that the requested services are being taken care of. She wanted to tell me that the engine codes they were reading were codes related to emissions, evap, and O2 sensor. I don't know if its dishonesty or ineptitude, where money is concerned Hanlon's Razor doesn't apply. The first blatant lie I was told is that these things have no relation to the services I requested. When your PCV valve gets stuck open those are the EXACT problems that are going to be reported by your computer. The onboard diagnostic system can only tell you so much.... Once again the pressure for diagnostic services I didn't need for my issue as well as suggesting a replacement for my cannister purge valve........ Further I was told my coolant was leaking. The language they used was 'leak was observed'. No leak was actually observed, they saw fluid on the floor. Another attempt to sell diagnostic services.... this time for a problem I didn't have when I took my car in. I insisted on only performing the services requested, and resigned myself to fixing what they broke. When I got my car back, the engine light was still on. That worried me until I realized my clock was current. They didn't reset the computer. They overfilled my coolant reservoir, overflow was probably what they called a leak. The light did not come back on. The snow under my car is still white, and the running issues it had are resolved. It purrs like a kitten sitting on a metronome {Ecotec}
