Not a great experience with service. Told them I had a code show up stating I should get my suspension checked…they failed to tell me they would need to run diagnostics and there would be a charge. $180 for diagnostics. Rotated my new winter tires I’d just put on two months ago and changed my oil even though it was at 50% for oil life. 6.5 hours to wait for stuff that didn’t even need to be done. 🤷🏻♀️ Next time I’ll ask BEFORE I bring it in what their maintenance entails.

Hello, it looks like in your case we could have done a better job with communication, and we apologize. I do not know if it applies in your case, but in our severe-duty environment, it is recommended that oil be changed every 6,000 km or, in the case of lower mileage vehicles, minimally twice yearly. We should review your maintenance schedule fully, and distinguish between maintenance and repair. Maintenance is preventative and is completed on a schedule, whereas repair involves diagnosis followed by treatment. I had Casey help me pick out a vehicle. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I could tell he enjoyed his job. Also the person that helped me with the financial part was very nice. And I appreciated the ride to the insurance place from your driver. I would definitely buy from there again and recommend it to others

I bought a 13 Chevy Cruze and immediately something with the vehicle felt off. They let me bring it back in and take one of their mechanics for a ride in it and then check it out himself. They assured me it was running as it should. A couple days later the check engine light came on and it was leaking fluids from the bottom. They re did the seals that were leaking but informed me that the check engine light was a bigger issue, not covered by the warranty I purchased for the vehicle. I was in a tough position as I need a vehicle for work and by this point had already gone for way too long without one before finding this Chevy Cruze. I didn't have the luxury to actually exchange the vehicle and wait for something else in the same price bracket to show up. I also wasn't prepared to spend any more money on this vehicle that I had literally just purchased from them as that seemed extremely unfair since they guaranteed it had been "reconditioned" and was in great running order.SMP contacted me and let me know that since I just bought the vehicle and was still within my exchange window that they would fix the issue as if it were covered under my warrantee and charge me accordingly. I was dumbfounded but had no choice because as mentioned earlier, a vehicle is a necessity for me due to my career. SMP actually made me pay a 250 dollar deductible to fix an issue on a vehicle that they had sold me less than 30 days earlier...and to make it worse they acted like they were doing me a favour. This happened a month before the pandemic started and I'm still just as dissatisfied with this situation.

Just bought a Nissan from SMP. Highly recommended. Kris K. worked hard to get me in the right SUV for my family. We tested out a lot of different vehicles. There was no pressure, and we were able to make a good deal. Logan from finance got a better interest rate than I ever thought I would've been approved for. Great experience. I would recommend SMP to my family and friends.
