Don't bother going. They like ripping off their customers (especially on warranty related issues). I take all my business to Hunt Club VW where they go the extra mile.

We are sorry that you had a bad experience, Marty. That said, we certainly do not like "ripping off" our customers and find that comment harsh/inappropriate. We also noticed that you gave another VW dealership in the area a poor review. We are sorry that we are not meeting your expectations but invite you to contact our service department to further discuss your situation.

I haven't purchased a vehicle here, but I have dealt with their parts department extensively. As far as part sources go, they are about as friendly and knowledgable as it gets. I've also found that some of their TDI parts are even cheaper than their NAPA counterparts and FAR cheaper than the rest of Ottawas VW dealerships.

Combination of a terrible car, and service. Bought a new 2011 Golf Wagon from them. Had three windows motors replaced, and I got bonus door dings. Had 3 door locks replaced, got more bonus door dings. The other windows and and door locks eventually died separately,, more bonus door dings when they were repaired. The manual transmission was replaced under warranty, they gave me back the car with the muffler hanging, and the crossbeam only attached on one side. The Panorama sunroof began shaking violently and then stopped, took a almost a year to get it fixed because it was an intermittent issue. The parking brake seized had to be replaced. The dashboard began doing flashing in a strobe like manor. took video, could not be replicated. there was a stalling issue where the car was shutting off a stop lights intermittently, has stopped after the first year, no diagnosis. All repairs done under warranty, had to switch dealers as Bytek kept dinging doors, generally had a terrible attitude, and did poor work. I wouldn't recommend Bytek, or Volkswagon. The worst experience in car ownership.
