side safety indicators needed attention, they needed to be replaced. Parts were not available and we be ordered when. When the car was taken in to be serviced it was found the power steering was not working. The pump was replaced. The staff is very knowledgeable and keep you informed on what is needed for serviing.

BE CAREFUL OF THE MANDATORY EXTRA THOUSANDS IN OPTIONS YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IF YOU WANT TO BUY A VEHICLE ! I tried to buy a vehicle from this dealer recently and was told that there were items they added that I could not opt out of and as a result would have to pay thousands more than MSRP if I wanted the car. These included such things as ceramic coating (was advised it is already applied to the car so I cannot opt out), extended warranty and protection package (was advised I could not opt out of this, I had to take it if I wanted the car). I have never been forced to buy extras by a dealer when I purchased a car in the past, the extras were my choice and not made mandatory by the dealer. This dealer indicated that with the vehicle shortage, if I wanted the car, then I had no choice but to buy the thousands in extras even if I did not want them. As a result, I opted out and decided not to buy the vehicle if i was being forced to pay $5k over MSRP for things I did not want. I sent a note to dealership management asking why this was their policy to make customer pay for things they did not want but not one person from the dealership had the courtesy to respond to my email. My advice is shop around, dealers with integrity never force customers to pay for things they do not want.

I would like to share this morning’s experience that I had at Wheaton’s. I received a call from Wheaton’s that my car was due for servicing. I brought it in this morning and Mr Darren Bast, whom I have come to know and trust over the years, looked at my car’s history and the extensive work that I had done at the end of October last year. My car has not been driven in the winter and he said that I really did NOT need anything else done right now ! I have already told family members and two friends about the integrity at Wheaton’s and it confirmed in my mind that my next car purchase will be from there. Cliff Walker

Sales staff was very good to deal with, however service staff is very unprofessional. Bought a truck 4 days later the truck had an engine light on took it back to them service staff refused to work on it nothing they can do. Had bumper to bumper warranty provided by them with rental coverage for a rental car. They refused to pay for the rental car even though there warranty agrees to cover it. Not to mention there service staff and techs not being able to fix a radio in a brand new Chevy multiple times in my other truck. And losing my keys more than once. Sales staff is good. Service department is by the far the worst in Canada would recommend going to any other dealer

My sales man Jacob went to work for me kept me in the loop and beside being a great guy did an amazing job getting my family in a brand new bigger vehicle we can grow into thank you so much Jacob & Wheaton !
