If I could give -10 stars I would. Do NOT buy a vehicle or do business with these crooks. They do not honor the deals they make and dealerships like this is why the "used car salesman" reputation lives on. -->> In response to your response to your response: This is NOT what we were sold or told when we purchased the vehicle. We ONLY purchased the vehicle extended warranty BECAUSE there would be 14 free oil changes provided as an incentive to purchase the extended warranty. We NEVER agreed to a 5 year 100,000 km expiry on the oil changes. It simply doesn't add up. The oil changes are recommended at 24,000km by Dodge and even Joe Melindy the salesperson told us he recommends doing the oil changes at 16,000 km. Even at that interval we would have had 224,000 km of coverage. We were NEVER advised that the oil changes were part of the extended warranty. We were told the oil changes were being provided free of charge as an inducement to purchase the extended warranty. How Dodge goes about managing the costs of these is none of our concern. Our expectation is that Embrun Dodge fulfill its obligations and provide the remaining free oil changes as they were sold to us with the purchase of the vehicle, not included in any warranty. Put it another way why would we be told 14 oil changes are included if you know we will never be able to use more than 4 or 5? That is Fraudulent misrepresentation. I maintain my rating and actually would now give it -20 stars

Gabriel was so easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Made the process seamless from beginning to end and I would highly recommend Laplante to anyone looking for a new vehicle. They do not honour the deals they make. They misrepresent what they are selling you then they wash their hands of it.

Repost my review. They sold us 14 oil changes with a $95k vehicle and now have decided not to honor this commitment. The dealership knows this, know they messed up but don't want to own up to that mess. D

In 2019 we bought Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. To induce us in buying a $5000 extended warranty the dealership told us they would throw in 14 free oil changes. At 24000km between oil changes (mfr recommended) that means we were covered to 336000km. At 300/ oil change that was a good deal. It was an expensive vehicle and we figured dealer could afford all these. Now after 100,000km the dealer is telling us oil changes are no longer free and that even after Joe acknowledging that this is what they sold us now they tell us to shove it. They fraudulently misrepresented to us what they sold us. Dont do business with them!

Good afternoon Denis, After reading your review, we looked at the signed service contract agreement when the truck was purchased and consulted the vehicle coverage that was registered with the manufacturer, and it confirms that the oil changes and the Ram extended warranty were both set to expire at 5 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first). Oil changes are also based on engine operation conditions and heavy usage, which could accelerate an oil change interval.
