A time was set up to bring my truck in for an inspection on a possible recall to the air bag system if it needed fixing I was to bring it back a second time??? My son dropped it off and was unsure of the procedure you guys have for service, he was rudely corrected and left your shop not knowing what the heck was going on because apparently these inspections were not done on that day??? When I picked the truck up later, the inspection was done I think but no one was sure it further work was needed. Still don't know for sure??? Very unprofessional.

We are sorry to hear that your last visit to our service department did not go as smooth as usual. The work done on your vehicle was a recall inspection for "Material Over Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) Retaining Moisture". The vast majority of vehicles investigated under this campaign do not need parts - if they do and parts are not in stock, then parts are ordered in and in some cases require a second visit. Often parts are readily available, however in your case there was no problem with the SDM, and foam was removed from around the module as a precaution, as called for in the recall instructions. It is not possible to say for certain whether a vehicle will need parts until the inspection is complete. Either way, there is no charge to the customer. As for any miscommunications that occurred in the service drive-through, we apologize. We understand that for new visitors to our service department, the morning rush can be overwhelming, and not everybody is used to bringing in their vehicle for a service drop off in an indoor drive through. For our new guests, we will continue to make an effort to ensure they are oriented adequately, and made to feel welcome. Another way to avoid miscommunication is to have the owner of the vehicle speak to the service advisor directly. We welcome all inquiries, and your service advisor would be more than happy to assist.

Nick gave me good information on the service for my Chevy Cruze and followed through exactly like he said he would.. Although I had sat in the service bay being IGNORED for more than 30 minutes, he came in off his lunchbreak and got my service completed. He took my car and followed up with the phone call when the service was completed as he had informed me would happen. It was unfortunate that other customers had to complain to the sales team and I had to comment to my sales man before I could drop off my keys and get back to my mother on the Cardiac ward. Like I said it was a bad situation. Thankyou Nick

In my attempt to get a vehicle I was having a tough time, but Jeremy kept me informed by staying in contact throughout. I'm very happy with the way things worked out and thankful for Smp staff for their knowledge,experience and pleasantness. I'm so lost for words to explain how excited I am to have my new 2015 trax.

I went to smp to look at a new car. Kennedy was there to help me right away . She was determined to help find what I was looking for had great knowlage and all the answers for any questions that I had. I had an exceptional experience and I bought a 2015 Chev cruze rs and i am loving it! I'd recommend Kennedy to all my friends looking to purchase a new vehicle. :-)

Engine oil & filter change Tire rotation Oil change on transfer case and diff Replaced rear shock absorber that had leaked fluid and caused a clunking noise on bumpy road. I had also mentioned that it sounds like something else is causing a rattling noise could be exhaust pipe is not tight and that rattle is still there on bumpy roads.

We were looking for a new truck as our former truck needed some major repairs. Dan and his team took our worries away by providing us with a fair trade in value for the existing unit - making it a no brainer decision to move forward with the purchase. We didn't really budget for a new vehicle this year; however, Dan assisted with working out some options with the finance dept to make this happen. From the moment Jamie took the truck for a test drive to the day we took delivery of the truck, we were offered excellent customer service. Dan, Jilene, and Darian were patient as we made our decision, they walked us through any questions or concerns and took a genuine interest in our needs. They even sent me roses after the deal was sealed, how thoughtful! We love our new truck and we would highly recommend a visit to see the Dan Barrett Team at SMP if you are considering a new or used vehicle purchase.
