I received a lot of friendly help, first from Krista, and then from Ed. Ultimately, I decided to buy elsewhere due to mileage concerns. I would go to them again, though, if a Toyota was under consideration.

I bought a 2015 Toyota Tacoma from Shane at Collingwood Toyota. I was so impressed with the warmth, excellent customer service, and professionalism from Shane and everyone I encountered at Collingwood Toyota. First of all, I was driving up on a weekday from Toronto to do the initial test drive, and with traffic I barely arrived before the dealership closed. Shane stayed late to take me on a test drive and take me through the features of the vehicle- without rushing me at all (even though it was late and I'm sure he wanted to get home! ) Shane was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout my buying decision. His no pressure approach gave me the space I needed to make my decision. I live in Pickering and was struggling to figure out how to work through the logistics to pick up the vehicle. Shane and the team were able to have the vehicle ready in just one day to meet my schedule! They even had me picked up at my in-laws' in Barrie and drove me to the dealership in Collingwood (Thanks to Wayne (I think?), my driver, who was lovely and made the trip quite pleasant). Shane took the time to review everything I needed to know about the vehicle. He paired my phone to the GPS/ handsfree system (which I really appreciated as I'm not tech savvy) and walked me through how to use the system. He followed up after a few days to see if I had any questions. My experience with the dealership was so positive that even though I live in Pickering, I would consider choosing Collingwood Toyota for my next vehicle purchase. It's worth the trip! Thanks everyone!
