Appointment and cost was as expected, however, mechanical saw that our Honda needed extra work. Did a little bit more this time, but scheduling the rest at a later date. Wish the price of the extra work wasn't as expensive to have this work done. I bring our Honda only to Palladino Honda.

I was told I need to have my cabin and engine air filters replaced as they were "quite dirty" at a cost of $99.95+ tax. I declined. When I picked up my car, I brought it a mechanic who stated there is nothing wrong with the filters and they were very clean. I am very displeased with Palladino. My family buy new cars at Pallidino for years now, this car being my 5th Honda. In future, I will be purchasing my vehicles elsewhere and will have them serviced by local mechanics.

I had to bring in my vehicle two days in a row for diagnostics, then repairs. Usually a hassle since I work a day job and need my vehicle for it, but they got me in first thing in the morning and the service both times was faster than expected. Tamara at the service desk was great at communicating what was wrong with the vehicle and setting up service times that worked with my schedule. Great experience all around!

We purchased two vehicles for my wife from Palladino Honda. A Civic and a Honda Pilot. Our experience with the car was pretty good (besides some pushy sales on extras we declined bit that's personal preference) and it served us well for 2 years. We maintained it meticulously at Jackson Auto in Lively where I send 3 other work trucks for our fleet maintenance. The second experience was much worse. We picked up the Pilot on Aug 21st (A Friday) and everything seemed rushed. We had to book another appointment for the following Thursday for them to finish some outstanding cosmetic repairs. Immediately (Aug 22) noticed a sound from the rear of the vehicle on the first long drive back from a camp trip with our 2 year old son. I was absolutely livid to discover a brake caliper had come loose due to a missing bolt when my wife called me on Monday (Aug 24). A quick glance at the manual says these require a very specific torque when maintained or inspected. I guess that doesn't get done. I've attached a picture that may convey the gravity of the situation better. I had the vehicle towed back and the sales rep quickly deferred the issue saying it had to "Go across the street" they don't handle the service on location I guess? That certainly didn't instill any more confidence. I don't like to give bad or emotionally charge reviews but I think this one is sober and honest. Owning and maintaining a small fleet of commercial trucks I understand things happen and there is nuance to the business of servicing vehicles. If this bolt was broken I would approach it differently than it simply missing. The threads are perfectly intact. I was mad but now I'm just disappointed. Don't these torque values on critical components get checked? I'm left with more questions than answers. Edit: Removed another star. On top of the above issue the finance company they set us up with continued to take payments for the first vehicle we traded in? Palladino's rep just said "We sent the cheque" which leaves me wondering if there was any communication at all. Will that payment be credited? Pocketed? Who knows nothing was explained. I'll happily ignore it just to be done with this experience. If you made it this far into the review check out the Car Lot on Falconbridge if buying used (I've purchased 3 commercial vehicles there). They seem to have more time to service their vehicles and spend time with the customer. They even threw a back rack in on a truck deal that was delayed 4 hours.
