I've had both positive and negative experiences at this dealership. I was looking for a replacement part for the ceiling of my car and asked someone working in the Parts department to help me identify the part so that a replacement could be ordered. After showing the employee where the part was located, he broke it. To be fair, it was a cheap piece, but also a very important one as it secures the fabric to the ceiling of my VW van. The employee didn't acknowledge what he broke and went on to tell me that it would be impossible to find the part. Thankfully, someone from the body shop was able to provide me with the correct information. I was able to find these rare VW parts on google with the information provided, but I still had to live with detached ceiling fabric until the parts arrived. Other bad experience: My body shop receipt from 2018 was not forwarded to the finance department and they made me jump through hoops to prove I paid for the work order, otherwise they were going to send it to collections. Luckily, I kept the records, and for fee, sent those through. Another bad experience: Showing up for an appointment with the service department that was never created in the system. They do cheap but aesthetically pleasing work with body filler in the body shop at least. Also their mechanics know what they are talking about. The only problem is that the service people will screw you around with diagnostic charges before you can ask the mechanics a simple question. The only suggestion I have is that if someone has a mechanical problem that cannot be diagnosed, it is sometimes beneficial for both the business and client to have the client speak directly with a mechanic. I had a loose battery terminal, and paid for half an hour of service for a battery life test, and almost paid for another half hour of diagnosis until I asked for a quick word with the mechanic. He showed me that the loose terminals can result in an incomplete circuit at whim. It's unsettling to know I could have paid for another half hour of shop time. As I am really familiar with my car's mechanics, it was so useful to have that 1 minute conversation with the mechanic so he could show me what was wrong. Neither the conversation with the mechanic nor the potential for additional shop time would have happened if the mechanic had been the one to take out the battery and realized the loose terminal was the culprit.

Wow, I could not believe you could lease a brand new Jetta (quite the size for 2019) for roughly the same payment as a similarly equipped Corolla and your warranty is covered throughout your 4 year lease at VW, as for the Corolla you are on your own the 4th year. It is a People's car after all!

Bytek was quick and efficient when replacing my vehicle that was recently written off in an accident. They provided a quote to the insurance company in a timely fashion and then worked with me to get the replacement vehicle prepared and delivered.

So bad it doesn't even deserve a single star in terms of rating. I am absolutely outraged with the terrible service I endured here. Here's the story: I had a recall on my vehicle and brought it in to be fixed at Bytek, I had also paid around $140 for them to "check out" what other issues I had such as the leak I had noticed. They performed the recalls and also gave me a quote of almost $2000 for some repairs which my car apparently needed according to them..I took this recommendation to my mechanic to make his job of repairing the leak easier (so he could know where it was without opening up the engine) and he was shocked at the quote they gave me..They said my timing belt needed to be fixed among other things, funny thing is my car DOESN'T even have a timing belt, it has a timing chain and it did not need to be replaced. Just about everything they had written was false and it lead me to believe that they were just out for my money. Despite even telling them that I had an idea of what was wrong, they still decided to play me for a fool and give misleading information. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I paid in cash for the check up and they shorted me almost 5$ in change because they didn't have it? very professional I must say. Maybe they're angry that they had to do a recall..even though that's part of the job. Anyways, long story short..This place is horrible, will never bring my car here again if I happen to have a recall or whatever. It just sucks for people because they are the only "certified" VW in the area. I don't need a reply offering me anything or saying hopefully the problem is now resolved. Fix your customer service and hire some HONEST staff who aren't out trying to rob actual VW customers. You might think it's good money but it's very bad business and makes Volkswagen look bad. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
